Are they likely to add a matinee for this?

Are they likely to add a matinee for this? Quite possibly if it sells well I would think.

Waiting for the usual people to moan about ticket prices (this is, for what it's worth, very reasonable for what's on offer)😂

Lambert Jackson the producers are announcing something else tomorrow. I'm guessing another concert. Credit card out again. Have to say their concerts are always really good with high production value.

Think last one was ages ago at Union Theatre? Happy to be corrected. She did one at Shoreditch Town Hall and another one at King's Place concert hall. I know this as I was production assistant for both of them. Don't remember one at Union theatre but you could well be right.

I see they've ruined this concert by adding Alfie Boe. What a shame.

This has really struggled with ticket sales so it doesn’t surprise me that they’ve added Alfie. His fanbase will show up to anything.

As much as I love Jason Robert Brown's body of work (Parade is a movie musical waiting to happen and The Bridges of Madison County is subline) and despite attending most of his previous London concerts, I don't think I'll be attending this.
I know that both Cynthia Enrivo and Alfie Boe can really sing however neither are performers who appeal to me in any way.
I actually saw Cynthia Enrivo perform 'I Can Do Better Than That' from The Last 5 Years at a previous Jason Robert Brown concert approximately 10 yeas ago at the Royal Festival Hall and she got 5 standing ovations!

I’ve a ticket. Not sure how I feel about the addition of Alfie fans to the audience. But am still loooking forward to it.

I'm not a fan of Alfie Boe but I also just don't see him fitting into any of JRB's music.

Disagree about ticket sales struggling. It took a while to take off sales wise but I actually checked last week and there were very few tickets left. Obviously not a popular opinion but I'm actually looking forward to seeing Alfie appear in the concert.

There were two chunks of tickets at £90 in the stalls and dress that sat there for AGES not moving, so I can only assume they went 'lets chuck Alfie a grand and get him to do two songs'
He can sing JRB songs not from musicals - I will storm the stage if he sings Bridges 😂

I really had a fantastic evening. I was happy to hear Jason Robert Brown sing so many of his newer songs and Cynthia Erivo was just incredible. Such a treat.

I enjoyed it but it was probably my least favourite of the four concerts I have seen him do here.
The new songs from THE CONNECTOR and MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL were highlights but the rearrangements of some of his better knows songs left me cold.
Cynthia was fun and Alfie was fine but no surprises there.
Had the misfortune of sitting behind his wife and family/friends....all who clearly cared less that someone was sitting behind them...lots of talking, seat dancing, checking phones and all around cluelessness....and yes, I know his wife is a composer as well.... I hope her songs are better than her theatre etiquette. Luckily we were able to move for the second half.

That was special. Jason Robert Brown always tells a good story and is very entertaining. Liked some of the new songs very much. Alfie only did 1 song but eas nice to see him. Cynthia was, as expected, superb. She really knows how to act through a song and her singing seems effortless. Especially just getting off an 11 hour flight. Took a friend who had never heard of Jason or his music and only knew Cynthia for Wicked and she loved it too, phew!
