I saw this at the Blackpool Opera House (1997). It was bonkers but great fun. I will never forget Lily Savage and Bella Emberg getting stuck in a tunnel they’d dug to escape from Wentworth. |

They had a very rowdy tribute for him at the RVT on Friday night.
Such an amazing and talented man.
He was the first comedian I fell in love with when I moved to the UK (my flatmate had a stash of Lily VHS tapes) and my other half had worked with him just before we met and Paul had stayed in contact with him for well over 20 years.
I only ever met him once and he was so lovely and his warmth just oozed out of him.
Such a very sad, sad loss.
