Saw this tonight for the second time. It's amazing coming back to the show and being able to focus more on the rest of the production besides the lyrics. Noticed so much more detail in the choreography tonight. The show is in great shape. Karl Queenborough is excellent as Hamilton. The standout for me was Dom Hartley-Harris as Washington - In cre di ble.
View fantastic from Grand Circle A on the left aisle however it was slightly too high for my comfort. If heights and seriously lacking legroom don't bother you then there's simply no need to pay more. Clear view of expressions and of the lighting on stage.

I hear Karl is taking over for Hamilton and Stephen will be the new alternate. Does anyone know if Alison Ava Brown is staying or leaving?

Nine people in the day seat queue at 9.30am today. Did you queue up? I'd be interested to hear if they all sold out, or if standing tickets would be available later (especially with it being a two show day).

I popped in at 11 today and had no problem getting a standing ticket for the matinee, they had some evening left too.

A friend asked for a standing ticket a few weeks ago and they had some left around 11:30. He was also offered a £75 Stalls ticket reduced to £37.50, which he accepted. I think he went on a Wednesday

I got a standing ticket soon after they first started offering them around 5pm (just went in on the offchance as I was passing), but didn't know if they were all flying off the shelf at 10am now.

I was in the matinee today - first visit and I absolutely loved it. I thought all the praise might have been exaggerated, but it is absolutely incredible and a work of art.

The number of standing tickets each day varies wildly. I've had reports of 20, or only 1, or even none at all, so be aware. That’s because Staff have priority to book the Standing Tickets. They release what they have left once Staff have bought theirs for family or friends

The £75 tickets in the stalls are the very outer 2/3 seats on either side depending on row. We have sat as far forward as C and you miss very little and get swept up even more being so close. I would say go for it!

^Too right, LOL.
I noticed on some January dates they had seats as many as 4 in from the aisle at second price, too - usually priced £100 or more. We’re a five so would have to split up anyway...don’t want a repeat of the row L debacle in which one person was sat in a seat costing £100 of money!!!!! instead of our pauperish 75 quidders (this was pre rejig). Worth every penny regardless.

Back there last night in the Upper Circle slips, which despite losing some of the stage, has to be one of the best value places to sit in the theatre (a note, you actually enter through the Dress Circle and take some back stairs past the boxes to get to these seats).
It was a much more restrained audience than usual. No entrance applause for Hamilton and only a partial standing ovation at the end. I'm not sure this came across as magically as normal.
They didn't check ID or confirmation emails, which was unusual. Perhaps winding down that process, or maybe they wanted to let everyone in as it was raining. You still need the credit card you used so it can be swiped to generate the paper ticket.
There were lots of covers on:
Stephenson Adrern-Sodje (Alexander Hamilton)
Sharon Rose (Eliza Hamilton)
Aaron Lee Lambert (George Washington)
Emile Ruddock (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison)
With a depleted crew, this also had the unusual effect of having three white male and three white female ensemble members. It must be unusual to have Jack, Barney and Robson all of stage together.
The show always holds up, but some of the chemistry was missing. A funny moment when Jason dropped the microphone for Emile to catch, but he missed and it bounced across the stage.
I liked Stephenson's voice, but he doesn't have the presence and stature I'd associate with Jamael. I wasn't sold on Sharon Rose, but perhaps it depends on who she stares the stage with. I did think that Aaron did a great job as Washington.
