Wow. I had thought this was a forum where you were entitled to give your opinion. And I expressly said each to their own and it was just my opinion that there is actually a point where repetitive viewing of a show just doesn't make sense TO ME. Everyone is entitled to think differently But now I'm basically getting accused of judging people when I did no such thing - there is a difference between judgment and opinion-giving and as far as I'm concerned all I did was the latter, so the fact that I'm effectively being vilified for it rather upsets me. I find it quite sad that a comment that could have sparked a reasonable debate has instead been jumped on in an accusatory manner which frankly makes me feel like not posting my thoughts anymore for fear they may offend the majority. If opinions are no longer welcome and if what's been said on here is what people really think of my character after so long posting on here then maybe this forum is no longer the place I thought it was, which if that's the case is a real shame. Honestly I didn’t pay attention to “who started it” so I’d like to go on record saying it’s nothing personal and I value your opinions and input. Speaking for myself I saw a load of posts on a topic and used it to have a bit of a rant myself. So I hope no offence was called. Honestly I’m just feeling bitter about life towards Hamilton because for me cancelling my trip is a microcosm of sh*tty life

Let's face it, the majority of the population seem to think you're completely crazy if you go to see the same show even twice, never mind twenty three times.
Yet nobody bats an eye to those who eat out in the same places every week, ordering the same thing every time and spending more money than the cost of a theatre ticket.

It was me! 🙋♂️ I’m massively judgemental. Don’t blame anyone else. 😂 I sometimes think it is my only skill...
However, I can always justify spending on theatre or concert tickets because I know that it will alleviate whatever misery is currently dominating my life, even if it’s only for 3 hours.

And yes, I agree - my parents think I'm crazy for going to see anything even twice, and my Wicked count is the subject of a running joke in the family even though it's been accumulated over 11 years... But having seen Hamilton my sister now understands my occasional multiple viewing compulsion - so that's both a plus and vaguely back on topic!

I’d best be getting at least a (another) hug from that boy for getting on a plane 😂😂. But I totally get you- I had a sh*te day if it as well. Monday bloody Monday...

Just been looking out of curiosity on the latest ticket release: £200 for a seat in the Dress Circle?!
Cameron Mackintosh, you're having a f*cking laugh! Seriously?! What's going on here?!
I don't recall him ever blatantly profiteering like this on his previous productions.
The website lures you in with promises of tickets on the £37 and £57 range and when you actually delve into it, there are none!!

Not surprisingly that all the "cheap" seats in the gods have sold out first.

If the people in the front row tonight are part of the '23 times' group (which seems quite likely from what they're saying), they deserve any slagging off people want to throw at them. Squawking, squealing, whooping and fake laughing throughout. Generally any 'look at me' behaviour you can think of doing. They're not here to see the show, they're here to be seen.
They have friends around the theatre from what they're saying, but the 2 in front row (and to a lesser degree the one further along) are awful.

Isn't the limit 6 tickets per booking period? How are these people seeing the show 20+ times?

When an entertainment is as hyped and has as much cultural capital/cachet as Hamilton does, it will inevitably attract the narcissists for whom it is important to be "seen"

That makes sense. I guess you also need to create a new Ticketmaster account using a different e-mail address. Rules are made to be broken!

I've just returned 2 tickets (Dress circle slips) for May 5th for all you ticket stalkers out there...
(and f*** me that was painful. Got cut off repeatedly, and had Ed Sheeran blasted at me 3 times over while on hold)

That’s still better than when I need to call Virgin Media and they play Robbie Williams’ latest albums on repeat.
