Apologies for another seat question, but Ticketmaster aren't being too much help at the mo. Anyone know what the restriction on the low end of Row H in the dress circle is? Apparently they're the only seats in the dress circle with an obstructed view but then they're cheaper because of it...just wondered if anyone knew why just those couple of seats and how bad it may be? Thanks! Two of our party sat in the two end seats of row H (1 & 2) on Saturday, and had absolutely no issues with sight lines. I think the only comment was the very slight overhang and a tiny part of the far right of the stage cut off, but not enough to really impede the view of anything on stage. The verdict was good seats, that are very easy to get out of the auditorium to the bars etc, as well as being very close to a small (hidden) Ladies loo at the top of the stairs of the dress circle, on that side!

Must say, at 5ft7, Row C stall had bags of legroom for me this afternoon. Unexpected surprise.
Second time for the show, sounded a lot different to up in the Royal Circle 6 months back, but good. Jason Pennycook absolute highlight for me. Without him the principal representation was a bit...hmm. I think I preferred watching the show from the Royal Circle as you get a better visual experience. Not altogether sure why so many people were in tears at the end, probably couldn't buy into the full thing because I was constantly distracted by the forced pre-emptive fan laughter etc.
Also, can anyone clarify what exactly Eliza's last moment at the close of the show is all about? What triggers her reaction on the blackout? (may want to reply with spoiler, not that there really is one, but someone may find issue)

One is her dying and seeing heaven and being reunited with Hamilton. The other is fourth wall breaking with Eliza looking out at the audience to see that Hamilton’s story did get told and people will remember him. The end song is ‘Who lives, who dies, who tells your story’ with Eliza doing as much as she can to carry on Hamilton’s legacy and the final moment is her seeing the audience and realising that people will remember him.

Saw this again last night from near the back of the Grand Circle. I have to say this is one of the more comfortable theatres at the back and it was good to see the whole stage view (only slightly spoiled by someone in front who couldn't keep still). You also get the surround sound effect which I hadn't noticed before in the stalls.
You do lose the detail though.
Marsh Songcome on as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds
There was also a cover on for James Reynolds, although not listed on the cast screen. I think it was Gabriel Mokake, although not certain from where I was sat.
A good show, as always with the usual standout performers. You do get a different view of the whole stage when you can take in the whole stage as well.

If you know who’s playing which part in the ensemble, you can easily guess just looking on the list. (I’m probably bragging but I already mastered that skill)

When people are looking for tickets for the next day: Around 18PM they put the lottery tickets that haven't been claimed back for sale. Mostly tickets on row A, but for 75 pounds.

Yeah, it's not that hard to get tickets for this really. You just need to be prepared for the prices, be consistent and check everyday, and eventually you'll get it.
Harry Potter was way harder. It took me a year to finally see it.

Just got two (I guess lottery tickets that people didn't claim) for tomorrow! So will be seeing Hamilton after all this weekend. Really happy about this (even though I paid more then when I would have won the lottery.... why do people participate when they're not going ).

Giles seems to be off a lot at the moment. Seems to have been off at least 2 shows every week for the past month or so. Any idea if these are 'scheduled' or not?

God, American reporting is bad. How more condescending can they be?! It's not a play - it's a musical.

Man, this is cringey. If only NPR had reported on this.

However......I've just finished watching Rise (a US school puts on Spring Awakening and things don't go smoothly for anyone. It's not dissimilar in style to Saturday Night Lights if anyone remembers that from a few years ago. Only 10 episodes, it's now been cancelled. After an overfull first ep its really great). They seem to use play/musical/show interchangeably, so I'm not sure whether play is that wrong from a US perspective.

I've not heard of a schedule, but I think it works out he's off about the same as Jamael, which seems reasonable as the part of Burr is just as demanding as the part of Hamilton.

I don’t understand why this show is any more demanding than many others that don’t have to have rest days built into their performance schedule. Granted it’s sung through so tough on the voice, but it’s not opera and dance-wise the ensemble do most of th heavy lifting. Seems a bit odd to me.

I know sickness can’t be helped, but some patrons really do expect to see maybe one cover in a main role at best. The majority of the audience will have paid top dollar well in advance to see the show just one time and may be disappointed to see that they barely got to see any of the main cast, no matter how great the covers are.

Wow, 2nd covers on for both Hamilton and Burr tonight (courtesy of West End Understudies). (Sifiso Mazibuko as Hamilton, Waylon Jacobs debuting as Burr). Anyone going? We were there! Electric atmosphere. Our second time and loved Sifiso as Hamilton. Sadly Jamael left me a little cold on our previous visit. Much has been said about Terera’s lisp but I found Jamael’s height far more distracting - the whole company looked positively Lilliputian next to him. Sifiso brought aplayfulness to the 19 year old Ham and a true character arc as he aged with real depth of emotion in the climatic scenes. While I prefer Terera as Burr, Waylon Jacobs smashed it tonight and looked really emotional at the curtain at his debut. Marsha for me was hands down a better Eliza. I found Rachel’s diction poor and difficult to understand, Marsha gave a very emotional performance and I found her bitter and angry version of Burn preferable to the bland Disney princess version served up by Rachel. The ensemble seemed to have a lot of swings covering and the energy was intense as they got their moment to shine. I know some would be disappointed to be faced with a line of covers appearing in the opening number but after a mini second of ‘what!?’ we realised tonight’s cast were just as good, and in some cases better in our opinion and we loved it.

[ What a beautiful, thoughtful and well written review. Glad you enjoyed it. Giles does seem to be off a lot. Was Jam scheduled to be off tonight? I happen to love his performance though and i actually preferred his performance to Lin’s.

Loved this show. Only thing we found a bit bad was Ash as Hamilton. Everybody on stage outshines him. That role need a bigger performance.
Box office in Victoria is weird. A couple in front of us complained about their seats being restricted view while they werent sold as such and the lady told them to go outside and try to sell them!!!! Thats not even allowed is it?

No idea, she said ''just sell them outside'' and then proceeded to help other people.
