I know not a lot of us take West End Frame Awards seriously, but still is fun to look at the lists of nominees. I personally would vote for Emma Williams, Josie Benson or Sheridan Smith. Thoughts anyone else? Link to vote at the bottom.

Why do we not take them seriously? The awards or the general site you mean?

This is such a vague award.
Coming next, 'Best way an actor has said something in a play, even if it's not the same thing said by the other actors in other plays'

I've voted for Josie Benson. Only seen In The Heights, Kinky Boots and Guys and Dolls from that list. (I've seen Mamma Mia, Phantom and Les Mis but not those performers singing that song.)

I presume people know who I voted for... But if I hadn't of voted for her I would've voted for either Emma Williams or Matt Henry

Emma Williams got my vote. Her performance of that song is worth the ticket price alone. There's a glorious rendition of it from the studio on You Tube too.

I voted Rebecca Trehearn, because, well, isn't it obvious...
Voting's changed quite a bit now, Rachelle has 23% of the vote.

These kind of awards just go to whoever has the biggest fan base.

These kind of awards just go to whoever has the biggest fan base. You say that, but Sheridan would be nearer the top if this was the case surely...??

Rebecca, obviously.
What I can't stand about these "fan" awards is the predictability of Wicked, Phantom and Les Miz coming out on top. I'm not saying that these replacement performers don't deserve attention for the good work they are doing, but the results more or less remain the same despite the other talents doing more refreshing and new things on the WE.

I'm surprised that Matt Henry is low down and I'm also surprised Sheridan Smith is that low down

As far as I remember, last year in this nomination won someone from Sunny Afternoon I believe a voting campaign was made by some fans for John Dagleish who eventually won. However it was certainly the best performance of a song I saw last year, I felt lucky to be able to see the performance again at the Oliviers in concert. It is certainly a harder choice this year, I could have chosen any of 7 but went for Sheridan Smith as Funny Girl is the best show I have seen this year, closely followed by Show Boat. I know I am fortunate in that I have seen 14 out of 18 of the nominations perform but know many people will just be voting as a fan of the show. Personally I feel like there are 5 people nominated who have replaced actors who previously did a far better job compared to 3 takeovers who I feel are doing a better job. But that's just my opinion obviously not so many voters agree with me!

All these "awards" are getting ridiculous! I am going to start my own "awards" - Best Hair Extensions, Best Exit Off Stage Right, Best Exit Off Stage Left, Best Technical Difficulty, Best Fake Sincerity. You get the idea..........

I'm also surprised Sheridan Smith is that low down Maybe not a lot of people have heard her version of it. I'm sure Natasha's would be higher.

Best Technical Difficulty without a doubt goes to Kinky Boots when the Safety Curtain quite literally crashed down onto the stage. Terrifying at the beginning, hilarious seeing them attempt to raise it after.

Anyone was wondering, Rachel Ann Go won, with the top three results as follows: WINNER - Rachelle Ann Go ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘: 32% of the final vote 2nd Place - Matt Corner‘Can't Take My Eyes Off You’: 11% of the final vote 3rd Place - Oliver Savile ‘Dancing Through Life’: 9% of the final vote 4th Place - Emma Williams ‘If Mountains Were Easy To Climb’: 9% of the final vote Thrilled for Emma and Oliver, which are deserved! Also thrilled that just below Oliver and Emma were Matt Henry and Josie Benson! Am very surprised that both Rebecca Trehearn and Sheridan didn't get into the top 10, they were both amazing! But I suppose I shouldn't be that surprised as not many people have seen Sheridan in the role compared to the others nominees and Show Boat isn't selling that great. www.westendframe.com/2016/06/best-performance-of-song-2016-full.html
