Owner of the most beautiful voice and lead singer of The Seekers, who I was lucky enough to see in their final UK tour. Judith has sadly passed away at the age of 79.
Judith will receive an Australian State Funeral.

Very sad to hear this. I love The Seekers music. My favourite song is The Carnival Is Over. She did indeed have a lovely voice and was one of the first Australian singers I had ever heard of. RIP Judith.

One of the great folk/pop voices, everything she sang seemed so effortless, but still intensely emotional. It's no wonder after writing/producing for Judith and also his sister Dusty, Tom Springfield decided to retire in 1970. There was nowhere else to go.
