Hoping someone can help. I’m going to Nottingham tomorrow evening for “Identical” at 7pm but with the last train back at 9:58pm, I don’t think I’ll make it. Is there a car service anyone knows of or can recommend that I can use to get back or even any other way of travel? I appreciate any advice.  |

Have you tried contacting the theatre for an estimated runtime? With it being aimed for a younger audience I'd doubt it would be longer than 2.5 hrs and that still gives you time to get to the station. |

I called today and he said it’s 2:45 but to call back tomorrow if that’s changed. That’s why I was freaking out. That seems LOOOOOONG for a childrens show! |

Oh gosh! That does seem long. We are going tomorrow and I thought we’d be on the road home no later than 9:30.

Sir Trevor isn't known for his brevity!
The Playhouse is quite a distance from the railway station and the route isn't exactly direct.
Megabus and Flix don't appear to be possibilities. There is a National Express service in the early hours.

I called the box office again just now and they said the revised run time is 2 hours 50 mins which means assuming it starts around 7:10, it won’t be over until 10. That’s insanely long for a “kids” show.

Might be cheaper to stay over and get back first thing. I ended up not going. I would have stayed over but the rail strike made getting back impossible. Hopefully the show will transfer and I’ll get to see it another time. |
