I saw this again last night - I go to adult tap classes and my teacher arranged a group trip for us. There were 20 of us in total and we all really enjoyed it. We were trying to recognise some of the steps. We were sat in the Upper Circle, which was a change for me having previously seen the show in the stalls, but we got a great view of the dancing.

Saw this in Newcastle last week and really enjoyed it. Great cast and brilliant dancing. I thought the cast and the set filled the stage well. Special mention for Sam Lips as Billy Lawler, such star quality. A 4⭐️ lovely show for me.

Watched this last night at the Opera House in Manchester. Show started 35/40 minutes late, not sure why but there's not much room in the lobby and bar areas at the Opera House for everyone waiting! Made for a late night. I really enjoyed the show, the tap dancing was fantastic, I've not seen the show before or much in this genre but I loved it. Sam Lips and Nicole-Lily Baisden were great to watch and the costumes were lovely.

Radio Times listing for December 20th at 9.00pm has Sky Arts showing 42nd Street. Flagged as "New" but does not say which production.

It’ll be one of those instances where it’s “new” in the sense that it’s the first time Sky Arts will have shown it. There’s probably lots of other examples of this in the channels that show exclusively show old stuff.

Was this supposed to tour this year? Pretty sure I remember seeing it advertised for the Birmingham Hippodrome this April/May but now can’t see anything for it, so I’m assuming it’s been cancelled?
