Two days since it happened and I still couldn’t process things. Like, in all places, Japan, which has zero to low percentage of gun ownership, and politicians campaign at nearby train stations for elections with little security.
I am no fan of his conservative politics (despite his political party named as Liberal Democratic Party or LDP), but among Japanese Prime Ministers, he was the one who led his party for years and remained in his post. It’s common that Japanese PMs keep on changing often, but not Abe during his two tenures as PM (especially his second time in office).
May his soul rest in peace.

Supposedly he held a grudge against the church affiliated with Abe because his mother was persuaded to donate money to it until she became bankrupt.
