I'm wanting to book a classical concert at the Royal Albert Hall having never been there before. I know that there are a lot of sites showing views from seats, but they do not really give opinions on the best place out of all of them. Is there anyone who has been that can offer some advice?

I really like the stalls seats. A decent gap between the seats and they actually swivel somewhat so you can angle the seat so you are facing the stage even with a side-on seat.
The floor (arena) seats are OK as well from what I remember, but I'd avoid the circle seats if you're above average height. I'm 6 ft tall and found those horribly lacking in leg room.
I've never been in any of the box seats so can't comment on those.

(From memory) if you go onto the Royal Alert Hall's website it actually show you the view from the seat you've chosen before makimg booking,

The sound isn't great from the Rousing Circle. The Stalls floor seating is great. Haven't sat in the middle levels.

Stalls for me too as there is decent legroom and the seats slightly swivel.

Yes, I’d recommend the stalls too - 11 rows of tiered seating and as others have said the seats swivel to help you turn towards the stage too. They’re my usual pick and I’ve sat in several different areas - all of which gave a good view.
Definitely check out the Theatre Monkey page as it’s incredibly comprehensive and very helpful!

Circle can get very hot during the summer. Aisle seats on the outside make a big difference in the Arena.
The sound is notorious for echoing about halfway back.
