Last nights performance of Grease was abandoned after a teen fell from the balcony during the show. As far as I can tell the person that fell is in hospital being treated for serious injuries.
Must have been horrific for other audience members
No decision made yet regarding the remaining performances

This is my local theatre - beautiful theatre, horrific news. Local newspaper reporting that the boy fell from an area that was not open to the public at the time.
Must have been an horrendous thing to witness and thoughts very much with the lad who fell and all - audience and performers - who were there last night.

I am not good with heights, so this makes ***shudder***.
Very sad, horrible for his parents, sounds very serious, but hope he makes a complete recovery.
