Can anyone recommend somewhere nice (and affordable) to take a lady in heart of West End (we are in covent garden), can't find any Groupons or offers around at all and really struggling to find something reasonably priced / happy hour

Be At One (which is not the same as All Bar One I learnt recently) do a good happy hour! I think it's before 7pm and it's 2 cocktails for the price of one (which averages to about £4/4.50 a cocktail), but you have to get 2 of the same cocktail.

Blame Gloria has great music and great vibe, and 2 for 1 cocktails. Just by Covent Garden
Escapologist by Seven Dials is also nice, same company as Glorias too
