I'll be in London (from Washington DC) for a week in July and have one theatre slot left to fill: I know Jack Flies or Southbury Child have not yet opened, but I wonder if some of you might have either inside info or gut instincts about either? I love Alex Jennings and Hytner, but also One Man, Two Guvnors and going to the National. Beyond the generic marketing blurbs on their sites, I know very little about either production. Thanks for any insights or suggestions you might have.
So far I'm seeing Attila and Cav/Pag at ROH, Cabaret, Patriots, and Seagull.

If you can sit on the decision for a while, Southbury is playing at Chichester prior to London and that’s where it’s press night will be. So you’d be able to see the reviews around mid-June, which might help your decision-making. Jack reviews won’t be until a few weeks afterwards.

I'm also having the same question...with my one open slot - and went with Jack since it looks like tickets are scarce.

If it helps, there will be an NT Live cinema broadcast for Jack Absolute but none is planned (so far) for The Southbury Child.
