God the casting on this is exquisite.
Hopefully Turner can behave herself a bit better than the last time she directed for the NT.

Here’s hoping it’s not as long as the Old Vic production.

Here’s hoping it’s not as long as the Old Vic production. It is always going to be a long play. It is not a text that lends itself to easy cutting. The best to hope for is that the director doesn't indulge in additional moments and keeps the pace up. It is all too easy to overdo the girls and their behaviour in the court that can drain all forward momentum at a crucial moment. But no one should expect to spend less than 3 hours in the theatre for this script

All My Sons is one of my favourite plays and I also really enjoyed Death of a Salesman and The Price. Glad I'll be able to add another from the repertoire to my list (and then just need to hope there is another View from the Bridge revival upcoming too!)

Please do yourself a favour and go in blind - watching the way it unfolds for the first time without knowing what will happen is an unforgettable theatrical experience.

How exciting - and great advice. I know it’s about “witches” and that’s about it so I shan’t do any research.

Nah, surely not that long. I was in a uni prod and it ended before the pubs closed.

I've booked twice for this...once at the start of the run and at the end.
My favorite play of all-time and the cast is fantastic so am really looking forward to it.
I personally loved Ivo's take on Broadway.

Do the National still do entry pass tickets?

Do the National still do entry pass tickets? They're just called 16-25 tickets now. 16-18 years olds can get £5 tickets and 19-25 year olds can get £10 ones.

Easy and fast queue but very few Stalls £20 seats. Ended up with one in second row and seat behind in the third row stalls. That'll do.

Are the £20 stalls seats only on certain days or something because across all the dates I checked I only found 1 still available. Do most of them just go in the members sale? I was about 120th in the queue at the start so I was sort of optimistic about my chances but I was booking for 3 so resigned myself to the Circle once again.

At last, something at the National that I want to see! Right on the button for these times, and great casting.

A lot less than normal when later in the run tends to show more options. But a shorter run and what looks to be a popular show... Who knows really? Rush tickets have worked easily for many including me recently so maybe they'll work for this.

Yeah that makes sense, I knew this would be a more popular show which is why I booked early in the first place actually, can't remember the last time I booked an NT show before it opened. Although I actually just got a £10 Blues for an Alabama Sky ticket in a spur of the moment decision so maybe I was just in the right mood for it today haha.
