I caught it last night.
Both Patrick and Esmee were on The One Show the other night. Esmee was saying that she designed the bunny girl outfit in Bridget Jones and Rene Zelgegger kept on asking for it to pulling tighter so that she would have more of a voluptuous bosom.

Frock of the week must have been very well made because it looked hideous compared to some of the others. Haven't spotted the finalists yet, but the annoying one who you want to fail is fairly obvious.

Tbh I felt that Mitch was set up. He wasn’t at all as experienced as most of the others and although his wrap dress was ok it wasn’t up to much. It was obvious he had to go. I wonder what the audition process for this is. There must be dozens of people better than he was.

Tbh I felt that Mitch was set up. He wasn’t at all as experienced as most of the others and although his wrap dress was ok it wasn’t up to much. It was obvious he had to go. I wonder what the audition process for this is. There must be dozens of people better than he was. I got the feeling they wanted more straight men on the programme this year, so he was probably competing against a smaller pool of candidates than some of the other categories of contestants. (And of course they categorise the kind of contestants they want on - they’d never manage to get a diverse mix of age, sex, race, physical disability, sexuality and personality otherwise.) |

I think you're right. Perhaps I should take lessons from my wife (who is a terrific seamstress) and have a go next year. My OH is a brilliant sewer - says he approaches it like woodwork. He would certainly not pass the diversity test 😂 as I imagine it is these days.. |

New season starts tonight. Hopefully they've got a good group of contestants and the winner isn't too obvious. Esme and Patrick are the best team of judges on UK TV.
