Such a small window, what's the point? An xmas 2017 trip sounds good to me though! Still gutted don't have tickets for 1st September 2017 though... I think they're probably going to shift to releasing a few months of seats, every few months, rather than an entire year, every year. |

Is this the furthest ahead booking period in London at the moment? Its crazy it is booking about 16 months ahead Although not in London, some of the new War Horse dates went on sale up to 2 years in advance! |

Finally seen this. All I can say is it is worth the hype. Did it over a Thursday and Friday, they were giving out Keep The Secret badges after Part 1 but not Part 2.
I was up at the back of the balcony, M17. For 35 quid a part the view was fine (missed a a couple of sections) but can't recommend the seat for any one cursed with having legs and being over 5 foot (I'm just over 6!). I measured the gap between my seat and the one in front and in the middle it was less than 5 inches! More leg room would be possible if they got rid of the cheep opera glass things. Fortunately I had a tiny American woman next to me who understood my predicament, but if I had another 6 foot bloke next to me I don't know what I would have done.

I had a seat which looked great and now it's disappeared. No more seats at that price. Grrrrr. It's a really annoying website.

Just booked for 31st January 2018, Grand Circle B14. I'm hoping I might win the Friday 40 before then so I can return them, but if not at least I'll get to see it. At £67.50 per part it's a bit 'ouch' though.

Pricing a bit weird now...they have upped the prices for the middling bands by £5 but kept the top price £140.....

Yes, £67.50 for Upper Circle when the Stalls are £70 is rather cheeky, I think. I seem to remember them being £45 when they first went on sale - should have booked 'em back then!
Clearly they've decided to increase the middle bands to almost-top-price instead of increasing the top price.

I thought I would try the ticket queue, but they sold out on ATG before I got lower than 9000 in the queue. Thankfully I had already decided I couldn't afford to go (though had I been offered something I would have probably ignored my better judgement and booked) so I am not disappointed. Not sure if I am every going to get a chance to see this if tickets are that hard to get a hold of.
I would like to get some as a present for my Mum during one of the releases. I am quite flexible in if I win the Friday 40 I can arrange myself quickly to attend, but it isn't so easy for her.
Oh well, better luck next time.

My friend actually won the lotto on Friday so it is possible! Seats are insanely good too, middle of row G in the stalls. So rather than waiting until 2018 I'm seeing it on Saturday, yay  |

The Lyric is a huge barn of a theatre so reconfiguring with a similar capacity to the Palace is a good thing.

reconfiguring with a similar capacity to the Palace is a good thing. Surely reconfiguring it to feel intimate but retaining capacity would have been even better, though? I'm not sure how they could feasibly make a 1900 seat theatre intimate, I'm guessing the plans ATG's have for the Lyric appealed to the producers as they could have had any theatre they wanted. It's not a new idea, the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto used fake walls to make the theatre smaller turning a 2300 seater theatre into a 1400 seat theatre for a production of Gaslight. I assume something similar is planned for the Lyric for Cursed Child |
