Out of interest, what was the number?

Hello! Yes i just called the main number. Maybe I was just very very lucky. I just tried calling again and managed to get through to someone who was able to offer a return for two weeks' time!! Very good stall seats. Was giving my account details when my phone line cut off. Called back and was greeted to a different person who claimed there were literally no returns available. After the most stressful five minutes of my life, in which I repeatedly stated I was in the process of buying said ticket, I managed to get the person to finally transfer me back to the original person I was chatting to. Finally managed to secure the tickets! Phew. So stressful but am so excited now!

Whatever was on the main website - can't remember offhand. But got it from the tickets page.

Thank you. I called twice, spoke to different women each time, and was told quite certainly that it had sold out and to try the wish list/Friday Forty.

That's annoying, Tom! I reckon it's a good idea to try calling again in a few days, it seems like it's a matter of luck whether the right person answers your call at the right time!

First double show today! Wonder how does the experience change when watching over two nights vs both parts on the same day. Those of you who have seen it, based on your experience, do you think it'd be better to watch it on the same day or two separate nights?

... or eat it on the spot. Yes that would seem to be the most obvious option. The security lady I got told me I must throw my food away immediately. It did not occur to her that there was an alternative. Luckily I had actually eaten it already and had just yet to dispose of the Pret bag. God What a bunch of f***ing twats Let people starve whilst watching this sh*t bag money making scheme Which losers will spend the best part of their weeks salary on There is NO reason why you can't take prepackaged snacks into the theatre No one is saying a three course meal I am not an animal I can quite easily eat some fruit or biscuits without making any mess But given they sell the most common muck in theatre Sweets and ice cream I don't know what their problem is

I sort of needed the 24 hours to process what I'd seen in part 1. It's a long time sitting down and the 24 break meant I was ready and fresh for part 2. I expect audiences who see it the same day will be more emotionally involved, engaged and caught up in the story because they don't have time to think too much between the parts.

Have any of you tried or plan to try the stage door? From pictures I've seen on Twitter it looks MENTAL.
I'm assuming the actors are only doing it after the evening shows and not after the matinees?

After the end of part 2 it looked crazy (road almost blocked) but when I looked down the road towards it after the end of part 1 there was hardly anyone there in comparison (maybe about 30 people). I have no idea if it's still the case that part one draws less people to the stage door than part two but that looked to be the case after the first previews. However maybe it was an even crazier part 2 crowd to normal because JK Rowling was there.

Part 2 on friday night started off ok but got crazy busy. My friend got Noma, Jamie Parker and Alex Price's autographs on her programme. People were actually quite friendly and passing stuff around to get signed.

On Part 1 evening performances, I guess?

Yes! Finally managed to book some tickets. Rear middle balcony and not until November (when I can only guess if I'll be working or not), but I expect demand will be high enough that if I have to return them then they will sell. A couple left if people are quick on Nimax.

Thanks for the tip, firefingers!
Almost booked a second visit for November, but the only seat available for Part 2 was right at the end of row J in Stalls, which looks like it has a very obstructed view yet is still selling for top price... Hopefully more tickets will randomly pop up in the coming weeks...

Thanks, grabbed myself a double show day in January (the day before my birthday) in row C of the stalls. Will be my treat for myself unless I have something else to do that day then I'll return them.
Still hope to see it again before then though since I passed my July tickets onto friends. Not sure I can wait till January but in my dream world I'll get a Friday forty ticket at some point.

I don't know what's happening here though. I called the direct number again, as I saw the yellow dates but no option to select the number of seats. The girl on the phone seemed genuinely baffled and looked across all dates but could only see individual seats scattered.
It was only when I selected "both parts seperately" that I could purchase them for the chosen dates.

Having the same problem here. I see there is avilability but it won't let me select number of seats! I'm desperate at this point, haha.

I've had that problem a few times over the last few weeks. I've wondered if it's my computer or whether the website is using its own cached record for the date selection (which is slightly out of date) and then updating to the 'live' data for seat selection).

Well done! I'm interested to hear about the balcony legroom also, sitting there in April. I'm trying my hardest to resist opening the spoilers thread, still at least I have five months less to wait now!
I think that the website is to blame for the confusion over adding tickets to the baskets. I assume that it can't keep up to date when the limited availability performances are being sold out, hence the difficulty. As I said, I only really had success when booking both parts seperately.

I was back row of the balcony last week. I'm 5"6" and was totally fine, there was a really tall guy at the end of the row who was sat at an awkward angle to be comfy. no one was complaining about the legroom then. I want to see Part 2 again so going to stop by the box office tomorrow to see if they've had any returns!

I'd got the impression that people were liking Part 1 more than Part 2... but haven't read any other spoilers. (Is this considered a spoiler?)
