The Ivy is brilliant too, highly recommended. I just feel that Cote is a better choice when you have limited time between shows.

I live in the US and want to see HPCC in March of 2018. Tickets go on sale online in 1.5 days. Has anyone tried to purchase tickets this way? Can you give me any tips? Are any particular days of the week better to try for? Will I have better luck with the same day or split day tickets? Thank you for any advice you can offer. LauraBelle (who did not vote for Donald Trump) Open as many different browser windows on as many devices as you can, and pray for a decent position in the queue on at least one of them. (But don't panic if you're not in the first few hundred, I waited 2 hours in the queue last time and still got a good seat, with a good choice of dates.) I aimed for an even spread between Nimax windows and ATG windows to hedge my bets, but I'm reasonably sure ATG's allocation ran out before Nimax's last time, so just bear that in mind. I ended up buying via Nimax both times I got tickets, purely based on queue position. I'm guessing two-show days sell out faster (I went for consecutive days both times, mainly because my 40-year-old back doesn't fancy sitting in a theatre for that long in one day), but once you're through the queue, the dates should be colour-coded as to sold out or tickets available, so you can see at a glance which date(s) might be best to click. Oh - and either set up login/password with both companies ahead of booking, or if you have them already, double-check they still work ahead of booking. Helps avoid any self-induced last-minute panic! Good luck :-)

Saw HP on Wednesday and absolutely adored it! I am about to write a review, but was looking for some advice. I am writing this review for my blog and want to talk about the show in depth. I don't think I can do this without saying spoilers. Do you think that posting spoilers in this review (all being marked) would be acceptable? I know that keeping the secrets is a large part of the show, but if they're marked does that make it ok?
Help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Think it's pretty much impossible to not say anything but I tried to speak about what it was about rather than what actually happens: westendwanderer.com/2016/07/29/review-harry-potter-and-the-cursed-child-palace-theatre-london/

Doesn't seem *hugely* unlikely to me. If you've got thousands of people - some using multiple browsers - all clicking at the same time, then someone's going to have to end up near the back of the queue. (I came in a couple of minutes after 11, out of curiosity, and am 38,000 in the ATG queue and 40,000 in the Nimax queue.) Yeah, the numbers are unnervingly big, but so's Harry Potter.

You get a random queue number from all the people who turn up in the first couple of minutes....they always do it like this...for the Friday Forty as well. Complete luck! Fairest way to do it....

I never got a queue number in my Nimax queue, but went in at 4,620 on ATG - this dropped by half in the first half hour and then only took 10 mins for me to get to the front of the queue and buy my tickets. I was allocated Grand Circle...not the level i would have chosen, but completely centre so not too unhappy. Going to make a birthday weekend of it as its two days after my birthday.
One question for those who have booked on previous ticket releases - how long do the tickets take to come through in the post? I usually do box office collection, however I chose to have them posted out...then had a thought that we may have moved by the "2 weeks before the performance"....

Guys... Stop... Listen.
Want to know the best way the get tickets for Harry Potter on the West End? Check the site this Thursday and Friday. Thousands of tickets will be booked today but hundreds won't go through and get released again 3-10 days AFTER the official release day.
I told my friends this and EVERYone I know in London and my family up north have got tickets this way. I'm probably a fool for telling you and please try not to share this info.
THATS how you get tickets for this amazing show!!!

THATS how you get tickets for this amazing show!!! Fantastic tip westendwendy Just booked 3 tickets for the price category I wanted February 2018. Payment was a bit dubious as I couldn't get it to confirm but the tickets were booked and I got the chance to redo the payment. Eventually I got a booking confirmation Good system Nimax! Lots of tickets on sale now, so go ahead people! Yesterday I wasn't able to find tickets through Nimax online. Eventually got through on the phone, but also there were no seats I could afford (only top price row Q seats I didn't fancy. So they still HAD seats even though the online queue was SOLD OUT). And today they had cheaper seats available all of a sudden...

TimeOut has posted a 'day seat/cheap ticket' article with this info... www.timeout.com/london/theatre/cheap-west-end-theatre-ticketsThere is a daily ticket lottery to purchase a seat for that day’s performances – £30 in preview, £40 after. And every Friday at 1pm 20 tickets will go on sale on line for each of the following week’s performances at the same price. Daily ticket lottery? That's not right is it?
