ATG is "paused"

After a trying battle with the Nimax system (I wanted 1 seat and I must have had about 10 seats in the basket in total after all the attempts) as every time I would press 'pay' the ticket would have gone, I have finally got a ticket for the play, and for me the best part is on the 4th September THIS YEAR!!! It really is a battle with the booking system for this play, and I really feel sorry for the people who tried to get tickets last week as I'm sure the competition would have been intense, and incredibly frustrating!
If you go on now, you could possibly (no promises) still get a Nimax ticket for some point. There were 250 ahead of me in the queue, and when I had a ticket and then lost it, I would find my way back to the ticket homepage for Nimax and press the two consecutive parts, and it would probably only offer June seats. So I would press the back button under the calendar and then the consecutive parts again, and repeat the process until August/September seats are available. With quick fingers and a bit of luck you could get a ticket for the coming months.

Just keep trying as I think lots of people have the same tickets in their basket and so this causes a clash. The tickets disappear, the system corrects itself and then they reappear. I had this 10 times at least. Be quick with the payment (learn your card haha) and be fast but right with the verification (small pictures on my phone made this hard for me) and eventually you could be in luck.

Nimax now appear to have sold out of all but a handful of Part 2 tickets for November 2017. ATG have availability for both for some performances from July 2017 onwards. Will stick with my June ticket and keep an eye on the returns just in case!

I don't seem to be getting the option the buy tickets for 2016 anymore. How did you get those?

I keep clicking on a date, but doesn't go into the basket. Any idea on how to fix that?

The first yellow date to come up was that one. There was nothing else until May of next year. Just got lucky, I suppose!

I am assuming these tickets are returns. If any become available, the "Book Now" square on the play site's homepage goes live and you get the book now option underneath both Nimax and ATG. You pick the one you want to try and book with. 

What comes up on the calendar depends on what (if anything) is available. It is colour coded and there is a key towards the bottom of the screen. It gives you options to book them together on one day, concurrent days, or you can select single performances.

You will have a better chance if you keep it at "best availability" for prices, although you may end up paying more then you wanted to.

I only managed to book as I checked this forum and saw people had been successful just prior to my looking at it.

I'm waiting for the inevitable Twitter uproar from the dedicated Potter fans, who missed out on tickets last week and will probably miss the available tickets for next year and those that were for this month and next, as the availability of tickets was not officially announced.
I'll be really tempted to jump, and get loads of hate, and say 'you were told tickets would be put online later, if you were so dedicated you should have checked the website off your own back'.
