PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE OFFICIAL WISHLIST!!! I returned my August ticket over nine weeks ago, so it went on the wishlist and it's still there because no one wants it, apparently. I think they are not doing a good job of communicating people that this option exists! I'm pretty sure the demand is there, and that returned tickets would sell out immediately if people knew about them. fhaps, thanks! You're star! Much appreciated You are welcome! Do tell us if you managed to get tickets! I grabbed tickets for the last two previews of both parts. Watching them both on the 27th and then again Part 1 on the 28th and Part 2 on the 29th. Pretty happy about it!

Have to say I had no idea the wish list was a thing, and I read the emails from the production pretty religiously

The advance for this must be insane, this is Hamilton level! Coming from Australia in Feb next year and thought I will have no problems getting a ticket. How wrong I was, so far either behind a pole in the stalls or with the over hang of the balcony brought neither Thanks for ever put up the link for the wish list, fingers crossed I can pick up a great seat via that instead.

Good thing you realized they were tickets with limited-view of the stage! Have heard of quite a few people who have purchased them without realizing and now they are stuck with them (I know it's their fault because the system lets you know if you are getting one of those tickets, but still sucks for them!)

I agree that this will run for ages there, years, even if it isn't the strongest

Bit underwhelming, but maybe it suits the show.

Bit underwhelming, but maybe it suits the show. They said this is the "first phase" of the display and that "lots more" will come in the following weeks, so they seem to be expanding it before previews begin in June. Either way, I love it as it is. The Albus Potter statue is pretty cool!

I've seen the Application on Westminster council planning application website and some of the plans to add banners of the Hogwart Houses and a digital clock looked cool although I think the digital clock may have been rejected

Would love to see a huge, extravagant front of house!

Well, based on those plans it looks like the front of house is nearly finished. Based on that concept art it will look pretty at night but maybe yeah, they could've gone a little more extravagant.

Would love to see a huge, extravagant front of house! I've seen pictures of that signage which was actually before Les Mis and it's an eyesore TBH I doubt they'd ever do that again simply because of heritage reasons. The Westminster application website lets you look at future plans for the VP refurb which will see the middle signage removed and replaced with a window.

I quite like the subtle, understated approach they've gone for. It's not like they need to spend any more money for advertising. i also got the impression "first phase" comment was referring to the whole theatre and that there is more to be done to the interior, perhaps?

The theatre's being refurbished at the moment so I assume they'll adding some more elements inside the theatre once that is completed and they load in the set, I do hope they do add the banners but it's not a big deal if they don't. The Palace has always had good signage, Spamalot and Priscilla being the best examples.

For anyone that's curious about how it looked. I think the facade of the Palace is beautiful though, I'm more than happy with what's there currently. Maybe it's because I'm on my iPad, but for some reason it isn't loading. But I just looked it up on Instagram, it does look great, as the Palace marquees always do, but for a minute I thought that was a real kid inside the nest! That probably would have scared me if I walked past it without knowing! However I'm kind of surprised Warner Brothers haven't been involved with this play and given it the film logo that everyone knows.

Warner Bros supported the play during development but I don't think are producing it unless Harry Potter Theatrical is a company owned by JK and WB although saying that WB Theatre Ventures have been retweeting and posting stuff from Cursed Child on Facebook and Twitter so maybe they are involved in some capacity. I wouldn't be surprised if they coughed up the majority of the budget in exchange for film rights although it wouldn't been hard for Sonia and Colin Callender to raise the money.

I might be late in knowing this, but it would appear they've cancelled the previously announced (but unsold) 'late May' previews. So the first preview is the one already sold out for 7th June. I assume it's so they can have more time to rehearse and load in the set.

I hadn't realized they were cancelled but I had indeed been wondering when would they sell these tickets. Thanks for pointing it out! I for one am glad, this means a few less days of worrying about spoilers lol The FAQ section of the site now says "We no longer have plans for any previews prior to the first performance on 7th June."

Plenty of time to try and make this show live anywhere near up to the hype that's been generated. I think it was a bit weird how they announced those previews but didn't allow booking, as if they knew there was a good chance they wouldn't be selling them. Would it not be easier to not say anything at all, and if they fancied some previews they could surprise-sell them at the last minute? They wouldn't have had any trouble shifting them. I suppose the general public won't really have noticed this so it makes not much difference.

It's an impressive marquee which also shows off the Palace.

We are exactly a month away from the first preview. It's so close now! Anyone here is going to one of the first previews?
