A word of warning - I managed to get a seat in my basket for July 21/22 and figured with no timer I had time to work out whether I can really justify booking it or not. 15 minutes later when I tried to book it refreshed the page to say my basket was empty. I guess even though there's no timer it's still timing out after a certain period.

I don't want any spoilers especially as JK has asked punters to keep the secrets but please, if you are going do let us know whether this is any good.

Here's a look at some of the available merchandise with their prices. According to some tweets, programmes are £5.

Seems the official Twitter account for the play is going to be a source of spoilers. It's just tweeted a picture of the set/cast. Ironically with the hashtag keep the secret.

Having decided couldn't justify this have now my web searching as it's got nearer, if the site says there are some tickets but can't actually ever get anything in my basket i'm guessing it's just under a lot of heavy traffic?

I doubt they will post any further pictures. And as far as I can tell, nothing new was revealed in the picture they tweeted... other than the opening set.

I just tried a few hours ago when I saw the alert here (for fun, I'm not anywhere near London), and if you get to select the type of seat (price A/b/etc) and get an error message after selecting them- it probably is in your cart. and it's worth checking for a while- because people drop tickets from their cart (with intention or not) every few minutes. But this was a few hours ago, so it maybe done by now... I'll check also and let you know if I find anything

Thanks, going to work doesn't half get in the way of ticket buying!
I got to select the number of tickets but wasn't actually able to select, I was curious as to what was around as much as anything.

Yep- real life gets in the way Couldn't find anything this time around. I would suggest logging in and seeing if anything is in your cart- I was surprised to find 6 tickets there after thinking I got none last time

Question to anyone that has been. What was it like getting into the theatre? Do you really need to get there an hour early and was it clear on where to wait?

Did John Tiffany or Sonia Friedman do an introduction or was it straight onto the play.
i'm probably going not to read spoilers after both parts have been performed, I assuming there part 2 is either tomorrow or Thursday

I won't be surprised if JK Rowling doesn't make an appearance unless it's in secret or on press night, she'll probably get mobbed if she is seen by fans.
As much as I'm looking forward to Cursed Child, I also can't wait for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which is coming in November but I wonder if Cursed Child might have stolen its thunder, I'm sure fans will turn out in droves and it'll be a huge money maker.

I've no idea where we will end up, but so far can see why they need 2 parts. This feels like a detailed, well thought out, well detailed story that shouldn't be limited to 2 - 3 hours. Characterisation is hugely important and deals with well loved characters incredibly well. What's the betting that when Warner Bros eventually makes the movie adaptation, it'll be split into three films.

The first review is out, from one of the tabloids. Don't know the nature of it as I haven't clicked on it but be careful because it's out there...

It's fine to read - no spoilers but a big generalised rave.
Spicey - were you there?
