Back in the day I imagine lots of young men opened up tissues when Anneka turned up. Too much!! I have no idea what you mean..

If Biggins, Anneka Rice, Gaby Roslyn and Harriet Thorpe aren’t there- it gets immediately cancelled and everyone sent home. Biggins, Anneka and Gaby would turn up at the opening of a tissue.... Or a fridge

Well, there is a lot to enjoy! Bernadette Peters as Little Red Ridinghood being the best surprise for me so far!
I’m so glad I came…

They must have done a live number or two at the Prince Edward before the screening started, hence the 7pm start time.

I'm trying to spot who's who in that video. I can see Damian Lewis, Cameron Mackintosh, Michael Ball, Julian Ovenden and I think Bonnie Langford but not sure on the others.

Attempt to make the people who shelled out for the cinema ticket feel a bit better?

Should we be taking bacon butties for the audience leaving the Sondheim tomorrow morning once the shows finished? They will be absolutely famished

Wow! That was really very good. Moving, and funny. Genuinely warm. And surprisingly polished and staged. Well done. Highlights for me were the Sweeney section with Michael Ball and Maria Friedman, Broadway baby, and Bernadette Peters singing Losing my mind. Really special also to see Dame Judi sending in those clowns!
Great to see Julia Mackenzie, Imelda and Bernadette sharing a stage.
And I want some of what Anna-Jane Casey’s on….

A bit too much of Michael Ball for my taste - with so much other talent present. And the Webber/Sondheim video repeat from Hey, Mr. Producer was not a good idea IMO, given the present situation. Not a day goes by moved me to tears.

Not a day goes by moved me to tears. Yes looking at the song list there was WAYYYY too much Michael Ball. Was surprise at how much Bernadette did - thought she’d turn up, do being Alive, throw her head back- arms stretched wide, and then sashay off stage. Good for her

Way too much Ball.
But my god, that Broadway Baby is maybe the greatest thing I've ever seen.
What a night!

When I saw the picture Matthew Bourne posted I thought it’s probably Our Time with a load of students again like they did at the prom that was repeated when he died.
Surprised there’s not more from West Side Story or Gypsy. Quite a lot from Into the Woods, Follies, Company and Sweeney Todd (possibly too much?) Seems a shame not to have covered a bit more ground.
