I'm staying over a couple of nights, but I'm lucky in that I often visit London for work so I simply scheduled it to coincide and can expense the lot. Down side is I need to get my backside out of bed early the next morning, but I'll take it.

I wish we had actual tickets for such a special event rather than an e ticket. I think I'd frame mine to say this is the most I have ever spent on a ticket. 😀

That’s why I booked a hotel…it looked like it might be a late night! If it’s going to be so long an 8PM start is crazy! It’s a school night! With so much material to pick from and perform (and that sort of money) I would have expected 3 hours. But it does seen crazy not to start at 7.30 like most West End shows. It's okay for me as I live on Zone 2 in London and am still working from home, but as someone has previously posted, it's a school night!

That gets me home at about 01:00.I start work (from home luckily) at 08:20. Will need coffee!

With the exception of those actually performing in this, or indeed any other show, I am expecting a lot of theatre lovies to be out in full and (possibly) some celebs

So what's the one song you would like to see performed tomorrow?
My choice is "Sunday" as its my favourite Sondheim song and with the cast we have got it would sound absolutely incredible.
Warning if anyone is sitting near me I will no doubt be a blubbering mess if they perform it.

I’d put money on Sunday being the finale and I’ll also probably be a mess by the end of it!

Children Will Listen isn’t often in the upper echelons of Sondheim but I love the message and one that’s resolutely Sondheim.
A reprise of A Little Priest from Staunton & Ball will bring the house down - as will You Gotta Get a Gimmick which looks like it’s definitely happening…
Keeping with Sweeney, I presume Helena Bonham Carter may be doing By the Sea or Worst Pies in London as that’s her only Sondheim connection? Good on her for doing this as she’s not a natural singer.
Side By Side is one of my favourite ensemble numbers.
I hope we see something from West Side Story included - the recent film showed the simple beauty of the lyric ‘I have a love and it’s all that I have’.
Aside from that I have no doubt that the heavy hitters - Being Alive, I’m Still Here, Send in the Clowns - will all be there!

They're defiantly performing Company.
I'll be surprised if they don't perform Agony- just for the comedy value and Giants in the Sky- because that what everyone was saying after Mr Sondheim passed.
I'll ask be surprised if Bernadette Peters doesn't sing Not A Day Goes By.

Judi - Liaisons.
I know they’ll have her doing SITC but how about throwing a curveball.

A Little Priest is happening as you can see it being rehearsed in the WOS video with Michael Ball and Maria Friedman (she is wearing an apron) but I'm wondering if Maria was standing in for Imelda for the rehearsal. Imelda could also be doing something from Follies or Gypsy. I also think some people will maybe just come on to speak and maybe tell an anecdote like Petula Clarke and Julia Mackenzie. So many possibilities.

Has there been any more mention of the film of this getting a proper release and not just the Prince Edward stream?
At three hours I hope it’s more than just the usual ‘greatest hits.’ I’d like them to do stuff like The Sun Won’t Set, Ah But Underneath, Franklin Shepard Inc, Good Thing Going, Bobby and Jackie and Jack, I Know Things Now, The Last Midnight, Johanna, Pirelli’s Miracle Elixir, Together Wherever We Go.
But most of all I’d love it if they get Bernadette Peters to recreate the witch’s rap from Into the Woods.

Judi - Liaisons. I know they’ll have her doing SITC but how about throwing a curveball. I think Dame Sian Phillips will sing Liasons and her and Dame Judi will joke about how Sian played her mother at the National even though she’s only a few months older.
