Well I hope the charity appreciates this :/ I might splash out for this if I get the chance - chances are it'll be these or nothing as the £75 tickets are probably going to go first and they'll probably not even be worth that if they're behind pillars at the top of the theatre. But Bernadette Peters and Dame Judi and Julia McKenzie... I don't think we'll have an opportunity like this again.

It's kind of what I was expecting to be honest and as its a charity concert I knew there would be no bargains. To be honest very few of us will actually get a seat so it is all academical.
I went to see Babs at the O2 years ago and sat in the very back row up on level 4. Cost me £120 and she was a dot. And none of the money went to charity!

Total waste of money, wish I hadn’t bothered. Didnt someone say earlier that it’s being filmed for broadcast? If that’s the case then everyone gets the chance to see it, what you’re paying £250 for is being in the room. I’d struggle to justify that.

I saved so much money on theatre visits during lockdown with refunds from cancelled shows so I'm saying to myself I'm just using some of that money. Plus this is going to be the biggest line up of performers since Hey Mr Producer (which I was lucky enough to attend) and doubt I will ever see again. But I'm not optimistic about getting a seat due to the huge demand.

I'm really picky about where I sit, which doesn't help my chances, but if I can get front of the dress circle I'll go for it, even at those prices. I've just had so many theatre visits ruined by heads in front of me, or worse sitting row B of the circle and the people in A (who already have an amazing view!) leaning forward that I very rarely sit anywhere else now.
It does look like it'll be a real experience for those who do get to go.

Do we think the pre-sale link will come today? Or will we have a last minute panic tomorrow morning waiting for it to arrive?

I suspect the latter, can't remember the last time I got the link the day before. For DMT+ people, probably worth logging into the members area ahead of time in case the link doesn't come but it appears as an option there.

Is this going to have DMT+ priority?
Also do we know what time this might be going on sale?

It’s kind of academic as I doubt I’ll get a ticket, but what sort of dress code would there be to this? I’m assuming you’d be expected to dress fairly smart (or at least smarter than my usual theatregoing attire of jeans and a t-shirt)?

I honestly don't think dress code matters these days but considering the price and prestige of the concert there will be people dressed up for the occasion.

Hi everyone, I was thinking about getting the DMT+ membership so I’d have another shot at getting tickets tomorrow. If I sign up now, will I get the link to buy tickets in time? Thanks in advance.

And just noticed it's an 8pm start which is a bit unusual.

The pricing is no different to that of a big concert these days. This is a big show.

Do we think it’s too late to join DMT+? I have just joined and received an email saying "Your yearly membership begins here and all of your DMT+ benefits are now available.", so I'm guessing it worked. Hopefully this will appear in the member's area tomorrow even if they don't send out an email in the morning.

I seem to have dropped a bit lucky timing-wise with DMT+. Signed up to get a ticket for Fleabag (which I then couldn’t go to 🙄.) Was about due to expire when Covid happened and they extended it for a year for free, then extended it again last year.
But even so, with only one performance this is going to sell out in about three seconds, isn't it? Except for those £1250 seats.

I wonder what Mr Sondheim P.I.P. would think of those ticket prices?

Sadly the £250 ticket price has now been normalised so well done for that, Cabaret.
Abd you won’t even get the best seat in the house for that, because those are undoubtedly going to be the £1250 charity seats.
I wonder how proportion of the non charity seats is going to charity?

BurlyBeaR From the email: Am I reading too much into it, or does that imply that it’s only the £1250 seats that are being sold for the charity? Are they just the top priced tickets with a grand donation on top?
