2.15pm and still waiting to get in and it's heaving. Plus word of warning, they have run out of programmes! Seriously! Not even a week into the run and sold out. Was told to come back another time if I wanted one. Tickets now being scanned but the house still isn’t open, such an odd thing to do.

I came into this not knowing anything about it and I thought I’d hate it, but MY GOD. Amazing.

I will report but I'm worn out from clapping and cheering (and a bit of crying), so I'll wait until tomorrow to gather my thoughts.

Bedlam in the foyer meaning I couldn’t get to the toilets. No programmes. No cast board Nobody who can tell me if any covers are on. (They say the to screen is updated but it seems to have more names than the website.) A great seat in Brooklyn. Hope the show is good!

Great pic. I managed to take a few decent ones but can't figure out how to put them on.

Nobody who can tell me if any covers are on. (They say the to screen is updated but it seems to have more names than the website.) According to Twitter, you have: Bradley Trevethan as Elmer Jordan Isaac as Romeo and Zack Guest making his debut as Finch That's all three male swings on (for, I imagine, the first time - and not something you'd expect for show #4), so I wouldn't be surprised if that had caused some delays.

All those swings going on… you don’t think they’ve got cast illness as well?

All those swings going on… you don’t think they’ve got cast illness as well? Probably knackered from the matinee. Massive amount of dancing so can understand

The swing list was from the matinee (but I presume the same for both performances). Based on West End Understudies Twitter. And yes, I would guess cast illness.

Watched the matinee today with my kids. It started late, they were late opening the auditorium doors, the foyer was rammed with people.
I’d seen the filmed version of the U.S production on Disney+ and it was exactly as expected. High energy, it’s a big space and they used most of it. Male lead could have been stronger, ensemble were great. Overall an enjoyable afternoon out with the kids, yes it’s not the strongest of stories but I still liked it and so did my youngest who can be a harsh critic.

They were sold out of programs tonight. How do you start a show a couple days ago and already are sold out of programs? For a collector like me, it’s highly annoying.

I was at the matinée today too. The foyer was very very busy and it started 20 minutes late but once it got going, I absolutely loved it. Sound was a bit quiet to begin with and the back of the Manhattan section is a long way from the stage but I still felt like I was a part of everything. The dance numbers were excellent with so much energy and talent. I thought Brontë was great and, while Michael perhaps isn't as charismatic as I might have hoped, I thought he did well overall. My partner commented afterwards that it was the best production he'd seen (compared with Broadway and the filmed version).
