I see Paul Miller is stepping down as Orange Tree AD after 8 years. Not a bad job opportunity for someone, will be interesting to see who.

Great news for the Orange Tree.
Not so good for Jermyn St but makes sense for Tom’s career.

Hope this means I can resume going to the Orange Tree a bit more and actually enjoying my visits, ie ideally more appealing programming and less emphasis on Covid precautions, both of which have deterred me reecently.

I think I noted on another thread that Tom Littler would be perfect for the job. It's a good move for the OT and for him but bad for JST. It's an opportunity for someone at JST but a difficult one given their tiny budget.
Paul Miller did a decent job there but his focus on Shaw and Rattigan didn't appeal to me personally in the revival part of his programming.

In case it might be of interest to anyone, OT has a great offer at the moment. If you book all five shows of their new season, you get a 50% discount on the total. If you happen to have some lovely O2 half price theatre tokens and give them a call, that works out as £6.50 for front row seats for the entire season.
While I do find the OT can be hit and miss, I cannot complain about that value.
