Has anyone else seen this rather wonderful Netflix cartoon curio?
It's quite bonkers, in a lovely way. The reason I am posting here about it is that it features some seriously good songs, performed by legitimate musical theatre stars. Kimiko Glenn, Chris Diamantopoulos and Megan Hilty all feature as lead voice actors, with guest turns from Jessie Mueller, Lea Salonga, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Rosalie Craig, Brian D'Arcy James, Donna Lynne Champlin and more. Recording artists like Santigold, First Aid Kit and Jamie Cullum feature too.
I watched 6 episodes in 1 sitting last night and am looking forward to the rest, especially spotting the musical theatre voices!
Jessie Mueller's guest character is a pivotal part of the narrative and her lullaby is beautiful.
