"And you might want to sit down, gotta dye my hair a mousy brown" sounds like a cheap lyric that should only be a placeholder until the second rewrite comes in, its clunky. The original line is so good, why would you need to change this? Do they not think British people know the word brunette? My only other thought is, since they took out the line about Elle "denying her highlights" is it to get around that Elle already dyes her hair blonde, so "going brunette" wouldn't be enough of a change (if that was already her natural hair colour) so to emphasise how for her being brunette is downplaying her hotness they added mousy? I'm sure I'm overthinking! That was my assumption too, that she's already technically a brunette. It still feels clunky but I can see why if that's the case.

So many things they could’ve fixed on this production, the brunette line was really the least of them

Basically for anyone wondering what Logan’s Run is. It’s a Sci-fi book/tv programme the story of which when you reach age 30 the person goes to die within a public ritual called Carousel. In this ritual, participants are flown into the air and repeatedly get shot one by one and burst into flames. They don’t know this till they get there. It’s supposed to lead to uptopia and reincarnation. They lied. After 30 you are no longer useful to society 😂 Just saw a clip on YouTube. Disturbing. Let’s get back on topic but if anyone wants to start a thread about Logan’s Run feel free.

Be interesting to see what they come up with for the Tonys. Lucy Moss hadn’t even seen LB and usually these songs are pastiches of musicals. I get the feeling there might be limited knowledge on this front

Gentle reminder that this show is explicitly not for old white cis people - you are not welcome. Please check with cast before booking that you meet the age, gender, race and sexuality conditions to avoid disappointment.

Hi, I fit the the above statement and did not give one fig about what the show was about, who the cast were or what their genders are. I liked what I saw and loved the cast, and of course I had my favourites. Good show and for £15 were good value for money. The only thing I did not like was being front row and getting fried in the heat. I am now a cherry red 'old white cis person'

Can they put tick boxes on the booking form please, it's so hard to know what the rules are these days. "I used to be with 'it', but then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm with isn't 'it' anymore and what’s 'it' seems weird and scary. It'll happen to you!"

Unsure why they got moved? I doubt anyone really wants to talk about Logan’s run specifically. They were relevant to the conversation. It was drawing a parallel about the assertion by cast members of LB that the show was only meant for young people under thirty and those over 30 suddenly feeling like that their future resembled an episode😂 Where over 30s and their view s are no longer relevant?

Isaac Hesketh speaks for the whole cast in saying they don't care what you think.

Wonder if an outdoor show has ever been stopped due to extreme heat in the UK?

I went a few days ago, there were programmes for £5, and then a few other bits of merch that were theatre branded rather than show specific.

Caught this over the weekend. Hmmm…. This is a tough one. The show is camp. The source material is there. Paulette steals the show. I loved the original london production but there was nothing in this production that added to the show IMO. Many of the changes took away from it. I’m happy I saw this production but I wouldn’t be recommending it to others either. Also the performer they cast as Margot simply can’t sing the score and vocally stands out like a sore thumb (although I did enjoy their acting) The band sounded wonderful too!

If they wanted to mess about with it why not cast Emmet, Callahan and Warner as women and play them as women?

Seeing this tomorrow for the last time (will be 3!)
It may not be the most slick production but I've adored watching it.
