I feel like I've had a pretty good day.
So, as previously post, I managed to get a free upgrade to the MasterCard VIP Seating Area. Now, just to clarify, this was was not the exclusive tented off area with free food and drinks that Mr Wallacio was in (I've been there, it's AWESOME!).if I had, I would have introduced myself.
As a previous posted has stated, the queue was horrendous however it was constantly moving and by the time I got in I only missed Mowtown which I wasn't too fussed about.
(Apart from the upgrade- brilliant view, a free bottle of water and disposable binoculars) for me the highlights were Wicked, Kinky Boots, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia!.
Wicked performed As Long As You're Mine and For Good.
Kinky Boots performed Raise You Up
Les Miserables performed a mash up of I Dreamed A Dream and On My Own (Hmm, not too sure about that) I think I would have preferred the two sings individually. They also performed One Day More (of course). The enthusiasm of the two new cast members who were interviewed who had only been into the run a week was very refreshing.
The Phantom of the Opera- all in full costume singing Masquerade and four Phantoms.
Mamma Mia!- just incredibly infectious, colourful and ABBA- what else can you ask for?
There was a speech where the whole Mamma Mia! case were called back on and there was a minute of clapping as a vigil to Orlando.
At one point I did see them talking on walkie-talkies requesting the gates be closed. Crowd control I guess.
There was a mother with three young teenage girls who have evidently hash tagged somethings via Twitter and won the opportunity to go backstage and meet the cast of Kinky Boots.
I left at The Pirates of Penzance. I'd had a good day and felt like I was done.
I am busy tomorrow till about 2pm so, might pop back to catch Samantha Barks and Daniel boys

I won tickets to the viewing area which I assumed was the VIP tent as this is where I was last year and the Priceless Viewing area didn't exist last year. But was so lucky to get upgraded to the VIP by an Angel. So definitely can't complain.

I would have loved to have been where you were (black wristband) and as I say, if I had I would have said hello however I was just happy for an upgrade (white wristband) and likewise, can't complain. Both section were pretty well monitored.

Well that's my first West End Live down! I was told to expect ques but i didn't expect them to be quite so long! I poled up at 10am and every time i thought i reached the end of it i turned the corner and it was still going! It snaked round about 5 streets! That said, i wasn't actually waiting long and got in at about 10.50. I was panicked that i wouldn't get in in time or worse that they would close the gate by the time we got there and it would be full capacity but it was fine. I even got a really good position near the front.
I thought all the performances were great, especially Kinky Boots, Wicked, Les Mis, Phantom and Mamma Mia! I liked the hosts too. I found that roving reporter funny for the wrong reasons though, what a card! That Crazy For You performance seemed to be a bit of a fail though.
Anyway i left about 1.45 as i had to head over to The Lyceum for The Lion King. All in all a great day.

It was also nice to see the covers on for the Kinky Boots performance. I've only ever seen the leads so it was nice to see a snippet of some of the covers.
Also, with the Wicked performance who was Glinda? Was it Savannah? I've not see this cast at all so wasn't sure, but if it was her then she looked a bit different to the pics i've seen.

Anyone returning tomorrow? I'm in two minds as my friend is all theatre'd out so I'd be alone, plus the majority of shows have all been and gone.
Yet I do have hours to kill before my coach home at 6.30pm.
Any lonesome souls there tomorrow?

Had a great day. Been going for years but this was the first time I got a seat which was fab. Don't think my knees would have coped with standing all day. I was in the VIP tented area which was very swish. Lots of free champagne, pims, wine etc and food. I was so engrossed in the show however that I literally had a cup of tea and a bit of cake the whole day as was so happy sitting down. What a waste of all that lovely hospitality! But others made up for it most definately No toilets though........... I was hoping for a nice posh portaloo! Stayed until after Silvia Young Theatre School (she was sitting behind me) Some great shows and my favourites were Kinky Boots Les Mis Mamma Mia Phantom (with 4 Phantoms) and The Wedding Singer but that's cos I love Jon Robyns voice. The low point was Thriller. Will that show never end? And I was a bit disappointed with The Secret Garden. Sounded a bit dreary.
Tempted to go back today as there are so great performers there including Daniel Boys but my invite was only for yesterday
Managed to get some great pics and videos but I have no idea how to put there on here im afraid.

I can confirm that others (me?) did make up for you not taking full advantage of all the free hospitality. I've been spoilt the last two years, I'm not sure if I can go back to the real world next year. I need to make friends with some influencial theatre people.

Depending which side you were sat you possibly saw my friend and I taking it in turns to go to the bar as we'd have crossed right in front of you.

Just watched a clip of the Phantom segment on youtube. The four phantoms sounded good but it did look vaguely creepy to have Christine surrounded by them all singing at her.

Popped in to kill a couple of hours before heading home.
Sam Barks has a set of pipes on her.
Murder Ballad I liked and think I'll have to get tickets, especially with the cast attached.
American Idiot I wasn't that keen on. Plus Newton Faulkner didn't know when they begin in London desite it being in massive letters behind him.
