The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole - Queen's Theatre Hornchurch

Saw this last night went if full of expectations and good feels then the show started and someone crept out from under a dust sheet blowing a clarinet and my heart sank

Can appreciate actor musician when it’s a show like “once” but this came across as simply cost cutting and for me just didn’t work

Just felt quality of the cast was compromised in favour of the fact they could play a sax / triangle / kazoo combo

If Hornchurch do this approach with Kinky Boots later this year it will be a hot mess
