Weren't they making this into a musical a while ago (possibly about half a decade ago now...)?? What happened?! I remember a twitter account existing for it and everything, I think?

I don't know if this was part of the production I'm thinking of, but I also remember hearing this song at as a concert (not where this video was filmed, so it was performed at least twice!) and honestly I love it so I can absolutely get on board with a whole show:

Seems to be a play not a musical though, maybe there was a musical announcement as well and I completely missed it . But there were 100% musical rumours going around at one point, too, separate from the opera. Possibly when I saw Up There performed, they mentioned something about working on a full show?? It was all so long ago and my memory is so awful. I wish I could remember so I knew to whom to send a pleading email to make this happen :') |

There was an opera. I remember posting a link about it ages ago.
There was a physical tent pitched on stage with projection at the back of the mountains ranges the herds of sheep, etc.
(I think) is was either Spanish, or Mexican; but definitely an opera.

Yes I found the opera when trying to look up what happened to the plans for the musical, but I don't think it's what I'm thinking of. I remember being excited about it, and I am never excited about opera :')
