This is just appalling. It's not even as if this is completely sold out that they feel like they can get away with charging 400 for returns.

It's dynamic pricing, if the demand is there then prices will increase, if there isn't it'll decrease.

Saw it a week ago and really wasn't a fan. No way is it worth £400!

Got a ticket for next Tue, have no real enthusiasm to go, seems as if this play has been around forever.
Fortunately picked up a cheap ticket so if I give it a miss it won’t be a big issue and will decide on how I feel on the day.

Thought I'd see if there are any seats when I'm next down. Saw the prices...jeeeeez. That's a no then!

That’s absolutely shocking! I desperately hope people vote with their feet and they perform to empty seats.
Makes the table seats at Cabaret look an absolute bargain, especially as they’re throwing in a ‘food platter’ and half a bottle of Moët!
It’s not just the final Friday and Saturday either. The pricing is similar all that week. ATG and the producers should be ashamed of themselves. I couldn’t find my seat (Stalls G15), that I paid £80 for when booking first opened, and that having seen the play in late March (when Taron had Covid) I’d say was actually worth about £40 given it’s not actually a very good play, but the seat next to it (G14) is now priced at £350 for a Monday night at the end of May. Disgusting!

I mean this play probably doesn't even need a wardrobe and makeup crew like Cabaret or any other musical does, or even something like Jerusalem. They're in jeans and t-shirt. Probably one person handling all that. And it's a cast of just 4 people.

I quite like this reaction, which appeared randomly on my Twitter feed:

To add insult to injury, if you were to pay the £460 for a final night seat on TodayTix, you'd be lumbered with £60 in fees...why does it cost so much extra in fees for a more expensive ticket, they're still sending the same e-ticket and reminder email?!

Wait, what? £60 in fees? Yup! My original total, was slightly wrong - it is a £400 ticket, plus the £60 in fees. TodayTix (not £460 ticket plus fees). Utterly ridiculous!

Has there been anything from Elliott Harper productions on the price of tickets? Surely they're aware this is damaging their reputation?

To get to this point where tickets are highly sought, was because people stumped up the money to see someone who is no longer in the cast.
If the current cast was the original cast, I doubt tickets would be anywhere near this price and more than likely would be an easy ticket. Especially as the reviews weren’t that good.

you'd be lumbered with £60 in fees when the fees are that high, i feel like that might be a system glitch by that point?

This is unacceptable. Marianne, Chris and Nick should be ashamed.
