Got my tickets too. It's my partners favourite musical and I love it too, so can't wait for this.

Booked. I wonder who'll be available to do this, from all the various people who been in the show at some point. Luke Evans? Will Euan Morton be able to come over, seeing as he's currently in Hamilton on Broadway. It would be a real shame as he played George in both productions. Considering the commentary on the DVD recording, I doubt they'll be inviting Lynn Paul back anytime soon.
It's the Broadway recording that I listen to the most. I love the new arrangements and Out of fashion for the 5 characters is gorgeous. Also, Liz McCartney knocks it out of the park in Talk Amongst Yourselves.

Presumably someone's hoping if this concert does well, they can have a staged revival in town somewhere later next year. Fingers crossed. I think I'll hold out for that possibility, unless there are deals nearer the time. It's a bit pricey for a concert (although know it's for charity).

About to book for this. As its a great cause and plenty of top performers have been in the show in the past it could be a memorable evening. I saw Taboo in Brixton a few years ago and really enjoyed it. The friend I went with got pulled out of his seat right at the beginning and ended up being in the show. Although he looked terrified he loved it and had a great time backstage with the cast. Luckily he was younger, thinner and better looking then me so I got away lightly.

I see dynamic pricing has well and truly kicked in...£80 seats in dress circle and stalls are now £126...

YIkes. Thanks to you for having the info earlier on this morning, before the main email notifications went out. I'm surprised so much of it has sold already.

I was intrigued. I looked at the prices. I am no longer intrigued.
For a concert version of a show the prices are obscene.

But then again, it's one night only so the producers need to recoup I saw the original ticket price and thought I would wait as I was just in London. But yesterday the prices went up so I got two seats in the dress circle. My original thought was that it was selling so well they would add a matinee performance. Then I was told it was only one performance and I buckled with fomo. If I don't make the trip I'll give them to friends in London.

So do we think this will still happen? No cast announcement yet (or have I missed it?) and they way things are going would they be able to rehearse in time?

I would hope if cancelled it would be postponed and held at a later date.

I expect they’re gambling on a week’s rehearsal so might announce cast early Jan… if there is a lockdown then expect they’ll definitely push it back. At least there’s 11 months of anniversary to play with!

Still no news on this? Pretty sure it's going to get cancelled or posted,I see they've announced casting for Camelot which is at the Palladium the following week.
