Interesting interview with Bjorn on This Morning just now. Last night the 1 millionth customer entered the arena which is pretty outstanding. He also said that there are no plans on moving the arena and the show will just carry on and on. (I know it has been mentioned that they have a lease on the land for 5 years which I guess can be extended). He said that rather than move the arena to another location they are looking at building another one and currently looking at North America and Asia.

Did anyone else ‘win’ the chance to buy tickets for the anniversary? We’re on holiday if anyone wants mine.

I did too. Limited choice of seats and pricier than other performances!

ABBA from the cheapest seats. £24.45 and in the top corner row seats at the far end of the arena. Person next to me would have paid double that. Seats the same size as all the rest and clear view of the stage and the packed dance floor area. You do lose visibility of the nearest large close up screen when they use it. So compared to others paying much higher prices its a good buy but does come with a price The illusion does take longer to work. When you are on are the dance floor or even in most seating you are level with the stage and it looks like ABBA move about the stage and are at times level with the band. When they do their solo speeches it seems they do come up stage. From the corner seats it shows that ABBA are very firmly on the back of the stage and don't venture out or occupies any of the main stage. The 3d effect does still work but takes a little longer to fool the brain. When there is a floor lighting such as in summer night city it works better and dancing queen with the light poles in the audience really does convince as well as when I have seen it in more central seats. Still full and still lots of people in costumes. Merchandise stores bit less of a battle but still must be providing a useful top up to the ticket revenue.

I terms of merchandise, personally I found it easier to purchase before the show and take it in with you, rather than later when everyone is on a high and still buzzing and then I observed whilst you're in the queue, please are trying to leave the venue. Alternatively, anything they're selling at the venue merchandise wise may be ordered online from the official ABBA Voyage website.

Do people also known there is a second, separate merchandise shop at Pudding Mill Lane station?

The station ABBA shop was closed with roller shutters down before the Sunday evening show this time. Didn't head that way after to see if they did open it post show but last time it was open prior to evening show. While the arena was packed as ever the bars, food and merchandise was far less busy than previous visits.

Is the show still as popular as when it opened? I am treating my niece to tickets in January, and don't want to splash out now if there are likely to be offers. Then again, I don't want to be stung by their dynamic pricing.
Anyone know if shows are still selling out?

I can't say I've ever seen an offer apart from group booking rates.

Then again, I don't want to be stung by their dynamic pricing. Anyone know if shows are still selling out? It's still selling very well so I wouldn't count on any discounts, in fact the prices have gone up extortionately from what they were originally. The seat I paid £125 for when it opened is now going for £195! The dance floor which used to be my go to spot used to be £50 and is now nearly £80. I would also suggest that while it is much cheaper than a seat, the dance floor should now be avoided at all cost because it is now WAAAAAAAAY oversold compared to what it used to be. It is also now sold as a 'party and drink yourself into oblivion' section. So as well as twice as many people, most of them can barely even stand for 90 minutes let alone dance and the minute a 'hit' isn't played they all start talking and exhibiting extremely obnoxious behaviour like they're in their own private bar. Sections J & G are the best value price wise (around £105) and as you're far enough back, the fact it's side on won't affect your 'view' or the dimensions of the Abbatars.

Totally agree that if you can afford it get a seat. The dance floor is increasingly chaotic. #BingeBritain

Wanted to take the other half and my parents in a couple of weeks and I was looking at £800+ for 4 tickets! I'd love to take them but I'd want Agnetha to personally bring me a Swedish buffet and champagne in the interval for that much.

Agreed. It's crazy how much it's gone up since 2022. I won't be rushing back. Much as I adored it.
Not until they make a setlist change, anyway.

Not until they make a setlist change, anyway. This is the main problem with the show now. All the fans have seen it and now it is just people (on the dance floor especially) going to a reasonably priced party night out to get shots for social media. While the fans accepted and liked (mostly, I still dislike major elements of it) the rare tracks and Voyager tracks, the general public don't know them so they just switch off and start acting like they're in a nightclub. The show needs a revamp now song wise to accommodate the new audience and to entice the people who've already seen it back. All those video only tracks need to go and some more hits with the Abbatars desperately need to be added.

I thought they had recorded another 4 or so songs to be added to the set list at some point.

I´ve been obsessed with ABBA since I was 8, know most of their songs like the back of my hand... But I´m waiting until they add some more songs. Why Trouper isn´t there yet is beyond me.

I do have some insider information, but I probably shouldn't be sharing it. I'll just say "Take A Chance On Me" will be coming....
