Cats, especially the Jellicle Ball, would sound wonderful with a big orchestra.

Just been emailed by the theatre to say the Nottingham date has been cancelled (not even postponed). Anyone know what is going on?

Gutted the Manchester show is cancelled. I'd planned a Manchester weekend with the concert in the evening and watching Mrs Doubtfire at the Opera House in the afternoon. I'd been waiting ages to get to watch something at The Bridgewater Hall, so the wait continues. Hopefully the Liverpool show will still go ahead.

I’ve just received a cancellation email for London Royal Festival Hall 05Jun22
Mind you, the cheek of it, they’re keeping the £9.10 per ticket booking fee and the £1 transaction fee!

No, the promoter should be coughing up for that. It can’t have been cheap to put on with a full orchestra moving between several venues, but the risk was theirs to take. Disgusting.

I’ve just checked and the Bridgewater Hall have held my booking fee back. I’ve looked at the booking terms which say
“Where such a refund is sought You must bring this to Our attention as soon as possible upon becoming aware of such change, cancellation or where the Event has been rescheduled, prior to the rescheduled Event. The refund for the tickets equals the ticket price paid plus any per ticket booking fee charged, in accordance with recognized good practice.”
it looks like “recognised good practice “ has been chucked out of the window so I’ll be ringing the box office tomorrow.

I had a letter on Friday saying my card was being credited. Odd way to do things when I booked it on line, why not email? Either way, I’m not paying for their postage costs 😠
