At least Heather's and Chill (if it comes back in) have original scores. I wonder what will now happen to the Turbine? I never thought the theatre ever really landed or settled in. Hoepfully with increased covid vaccinations and the tube extension it now will. The Turbine is still difficult to get to, even with the new Battersea Power tube station - but that will change I think. At the moment the Power Station is still being converted into shops/housing, which means you walk around a huge site to get to it, and the Turbine Theatre. I presume there will be a straight line cut through to the power station when its complete. If not Battersea Power would be a daft name as it feels nowhere near the Battersea Power Station itself. So - given that, I think Paul Taylor-Mills has done incredibly well to get the Turbine to where it is. I guess the Turbine becomes one of the Fringe venues he's talked about, and a hit new piece or revival there could get a further life at The Other Palace. Conversely, something tried out in the Studio of The Other Palace would be scaling up if it went to the Turbine? |

I agree PT-M and his team have done great job in setting it up. This is the wrong place for it but should the tube station at Battersea be renamed Battersea Power Station Station?! |

I thought Millenials was extremely 'meh' when I saw it at the MT Fest. I don't understand why they haven't put on a full production of Cake/Killer Queen yet. That I would like to see...

I didn’t see Millenials live at MT Fest, I watched the stream and I was really looking forward to it but it just didn’t hold my interest at all. |

I think there are worse shows to be stuck with to be fair (Thriller 🙄).
I just wish it had been around longer in the 2018-19 period because it was one of my favourites back then but I’ve kind of outgrown it a bit now.

Agree there are worse shows to be stuck with, Thriller being a great example.
But Heathers seems to have been done to death, The Other Palace is all about for showcasing new stuff or it was.
In all this new season announcement is well very tedious.

Better than Thriller is just about the only thing Heathers has got going for it. And I’m not even sure that it IS better than Thriller, which I quite enjoyed.

With the Heathers extension, it should give Freddie King a chance to make up some lost time which will be good. Millennials sounds interesting and it seems to have some starry fans from what I can see on Twitter. My hope is still to see Cilla brought to London and this seems to offer the best chance. New material though of course should still be the priority though of course

Cilla seems a bit old skewing for somewhere the Other Palace but if they got Sheridan Smith to do a limited run, it would sell very well.

Freddie has been suspended. Wait, what?!? Huh??? Due to his consistent absence he has been suspended from Heathers. Jacob is permanent Jd for the time being but will leave due to his band commitments. Official statements should be coming later tonight. |

Official statements should be coming later tonight. Yikes! I was so excited for him after seeing him in previous work but was getting worried the continued absence would impact him in the future. With the show now extending till May, I thought he would be able to come back to do a proper run. He seems to be genuinely sick though - I can't imagine him voluntarily missing shows without good reason  |

The push for membership renewal has begun. Pre covid I wouldnt have hesitated to renew, as I see every main house production at least once. Don’t see anything in the studio however. The question is, will it be worth me renewing if heathers just keeps extending?

I had a spare five minutes, so I've just been reading the latest LW Theatres accounts. What a glamorous life I lead!
The very last item, on the very last page, is the sale price of The Other Palace. Andy sold it to Bill for £5.5 million.
