For £250+ you don't want leads who are just "good" - you should be getting outstanding performances. For that money I'd want to see The Beatles reformed!

So both Eddie and Jessie are nominated for the Oliviers. Great to see this production being nominated in several other categories too. But the one I was most pleased to see was Liza Sadovy’s Best Supporting Actress nomination - her performance really moved me when I saw this back in January. Fingers crossed for her! Liza broke my heart when I saw it. On reflection - I think she stole the entire show.

I drag my mam along to shows and the first thing she said when we came out was how good Liza was, followed by Anna-Jane Cassey

I think the Olivier nominations for this superb production were thoroughly deserved. It'll be interesting to see whether this or Anything Goes does better. I loved both, but this had the edge (if slightly a tarnished edge due to the astronomical prices).

I feel Cabaret deserves it but because of cynical and general resentment to pricing, hype and casting voters will give AG the gong. I'm sure ER will get best boy, but JB will miss out. I'd love the supporting to win.

I think Buckley will take it.
Redmayne is likely a done deal.

I'd love the supporting to win. I've only see a few of the nominated shows as I don't come to London that often. Of the nominations Cabaret is competing in: Musical Revival should go to Anything Goes but Cabaret will win. Costume Design should go to Moulin Rouge but Cabaret will win. Sound Design should go to Life of Pi but Back To The Future will win. Choreographer should go to Moulin Rouge but Anything Goes will win. Set Design should go to Life of Pi and it will. Lighting Design should go to Life of Pi and it will. Supporting Actress should go to Gabrielle Brooks but will go to Liza Sadovy. Supporting Actor should go to Hugh Cole and it will. Best Actor should go to Arinzé Kene and it will. Best Actress should go to Jessie Buckley but will go to Sutton Foster. Best Director should go to Max Webster but will go to Rebecca Frecknall There should be a separate award for director of a play and director of a musical. Now I hope I can get the awards show while I'm in NYC this year.

I just think Foster gives the best all-round musical theatre performance.

I agree with seperate director awards for musical and plays as acting roles are divided as such.

I have ticket for tomorrow matinee and I just can’t believe I tested positive yesterday! I have failed to get in touch with ATG tickets and I wondered if anyone had a contact number for them that’s good for returns. I usually wouldn’t worry and just write it off but it said on their site you could possibly get a credit and £90 is a significant amount. I don’t even feel unwell but of course wouldn’t dream of sitting in a theatre right now. Thank You

I had to contact them when I tested positive earlier this week and that's what they offered me. There isn't a contact number but you can do it through the website. I got a response within a few hours

Lots of cover for today's matinee. No real surprises about the part time Sally Bowles not showing up

It takes me back to my ushering days at Drury Lane when Martine McCutcheon hardly ever showed up for My Fair Lady, resulting in lots of upset patrons

Me too, and I was delighted when I saw the nomination, it was a standout performance. I was so moved by their It Couldn't Please Me More and and her What Would You Do was one of the best moments of the show for me, when the stage had risen up and she hit that note, stunning. It's one of the moments that has stayed with me the most from the whole show, so moving.

I told myself all the way there not to get too excited but still the disappointment of the elusive Martine was devastating…until Alex Jay hit the stage, then I forgot all about her. I really don’t get the fuss about MFL. It just isn’t my bag at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere and build up going in add a lot and the venue remodelling works a treat. Couldn't see Sally's entrance or the band from row H in the stalls cos of the overhang. Nice view of Damian Lewis though which they didn't advertise. Show and cast were great, well worth all the waiting and anticipation. Redmayne definitely worth all the plaudits and Emily Benjamin went all in on her numbers
