Didn’t someone say it was Andrew Scott/Billie Piper (or was that just wishful thinking?)

Does Andrew Scott sing? It doesn’t matter. Eddie Redmayne can technically sing, but it’s a horrible voice. Andrew Scott would be BRILLIANT

Rebooking at the same price after March is possible. For the same seat or equal quality? How? My friend is trying to do this. They were offered a terrible seat in exchange sadly Yes. They are honouring these. Tell your friend to ask again.

Can you elaborate on this please. I got a credit on a £70 stalls seat for a cancelled performance last month. Is it now the case that I can somehow book the same or similar seat after March using this credit ? I've not heard of that option before now. By phone only ?

My favourites though, and their story really moved me, were Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz I agree on several levels. His reassurance of "nothing's going to happen, we're German!" was tragically realistic. (My parents had a friend who was attached to one of the 1939 US Olympic teams and whose father sent him with instructions to urge his aunt and uncle to leave immediately, at any cost. They 'reassured' him by saying the same thing. They died in the camps.) Then there's the dilemma of 'is it better to have loved profoundly even for a short period?' But then would Fraulein Schneider have ended up in the camps, too? (Assuming that was Herr Schultz's fate?) And after the war, would it have been harder to live with the guilt or the regret? The other question I've always had was why would the KitKat Club denizens (like the MC) have supported the Nazis? Their desire to 'purify' the German 'race' wasn't hidden, so it shouldn't have taken a giant leap of imagination to wonder "who's next?"

I'd say it's less support and more obscuring your identity in order to blend in and survive. Especially the Emcee, who is framed as very mercenary-sycophant, especially with the "if you could see her" kicker, it's turned on its head even more virulently in this one at the end, than in the other versions, where it's often a more humorous, mocking line.

The NT film Romeo and Juliet with Jessie Buckley is repeated on Sky Arts (Freeview etc.) tonight. I wasn't keen on it overall, but she's great.

Yes, this 'joke' had a sting in its tail here. I'd say it's less support and more obscuring your identity in order to blend in and survive. I can see that for someone in the closet or trying to 'pass' as non-Jewish, but these people weren't hiding their identities so much as capitalizing on them by working at the club. But people don't always make sense, do we?

Does anyone know when they might release the upper circle seats for performances in July/August time? I bought the £30 upper circle seats first time round and the view there was amazing. I'd be very happy to sit in those seats again especially given the price everywhere else in the theatre.

Was wondering if anyone had ever won the lotto, I have entered many times but never won anything or has any of my friends.
I know the run is sold out till march, so why would they run a lottery system where they are doing tickets for £25 when they can sell them direct via the box office for up too £250. But my issue is why are they advertising the lottery? or maybe I just haven't been lucky ... please give me hope that someone has won

Also the point of the lottery is that someone who can't afford a £250 ticket has the change of winning one of those seats for £25. I remember when Hamilton first opened I entered the lottery every day for months and never won. I also used to buy lottery tickets every week for years and never even won a tenner.

Hiya, I went to see Cabaret during previews when there weren't any programmes. I don't know when I'll next be able to get to London (probably not until after the cast change), so I was wondering whether anyone is going to the show who would pick up a programme and post it to me? I'll obviously send all the money over, plus enough to get you a drink to say thanks!

They sent a follow-up email today for the Christmas cancellations - so much for claiming that they'll try to make it possible to see the original cast.

If they’d done all they could, they would’ve given those at cancelled performances the opportunity to get returns for the current cast at the original price paid (as opposed to selling them to anyone who’ll buy them at hugely inflated prices)

Returns might turn up half an hour before the show, how do they then find someone who had a December ticket who could get there in time and get in contact with them? How do they prioritise who gets that contact? Have a bit of common sense, what you are suggesting just doesn't work. They were clearly trying to get Redmayne and Buckley together for some more performances, it hasn't worked, there is nothing they can do about it. That isn't surprising given they are probably both extremely busy people. I'm not sure what anyone was expecting but your expectations have to be realistic! If you are that desperate to see the current cast then you'll just have to find tickets through resales. That's what I've already done thanks to a kind fellow board member. And I say all of that as someone who got that email yesterday. I'll be waiting until the new cast announcement before deciding if I rebook.

I don’t run a ticket agency myself, so don’t have any expertise on the logistics of what may or may not be possible. But it doesn’t seem outside the realms of possibility to offer a code to those at cancelled performance which would enable them to book returns at the original price they paid. But thanks for the unnecessarily patronising (and, to be honest, pretty confrontational) tone, together with various assumptions about what tickets I may or may not already have
