Please god don't let Jason Manford or Sheridan Smith anywhere near this. Speak for yourself. Sheridan would be brilliant. Lord, no, she really wouldn't.

I mean Jessica Chastain was meant to be doing A Dolls House at the Playhouse so like...I'd be on board!

FWIW, Upper Circle seats are currently on sale until 13th May. I don't know when they release the next batch.

I'm not sure if he can sing but I could see Cillian Murphy as the Emcee although I don't think he's available as he has filming commitments.

Any idea how one can see this with a decent view and not have to take out a mortgage? Is it even possible?

Any idea how one can see this with a decent view and not have to take out a mortgage? Is it even possible? Many upper circle tickets have an unobstructed view and can be bought for £25 (or at least, once could). Either look for dates far in advance or check regularly for returns - I imagine more people than usual are cancelling theatre tickets last minute at the moment. There's also a lottery if you want to sit up close, but you need to be lucky for that.

Any idea how one can see this with a decent view and not have to take out a mortgage? Is it even possible? What I wrote on another site: there are tickets for £30 (ends of rows and all of Row D) and £50 (central seats) available in the Upper Circle. They are not on sale for the full booking period, but having a look at the calender, it looks like they are currently selling them up until 13th May 2022. When looking at the ATG site, if it says prices are from£70, then usually the Upper Circle isn't on sale yet. They have totally configured the upper circle and there are now only 4 rows A-D. A few weeks back i grabbed a £25 seat in row D, curious to see the show before i go in January. The Upper is now VERY steep and row D is now actually higher than the lighting rig in the theatre! When i first got in, i thought my vertigo would kick in, but what they have cleverly done, is the back of the row in front of you, is also very high. There is no chance of you falling and the barrier in front of you prevents you from realising how steep it is, and surprisingly, the view was excellent. You really are not far away from the stage and there are only 2 very small bits of staging you miss, but nothing to spoil the show. Excellent value for money. Row A is MUCH lower than row D, so If you keep an eye on the calender and can get row A, that's a great value ticket. I just got one for March

Today's matinee cancelled. At this rate there won't be anything open in the West End.

When my performance on 6th Jan inevitably gets cancelled, I guess there will no performances available to move it to, so I hope the next cast is good! (Can live without Eddie Redmayne easily anyway but I love Jessie Buckley)

Sorry where have you seen this evening is also cancelled? Due to be there so will be very disappointing, but what can you do. Highly expect the evening show will not go ahead if the matinee has not, but haven’t seen on any socials announcement of this evening being cancelled and still on sale currently.

Hope anyone going to this short term (providing it's open) has been able to source a test required for entry. Seems like they are scarce for the moment and will be harder to find for the immediate future.

I believe the story that we have millions of them, it is just the logistics at the moment that are tricky!

I just thought maybe you had some insider knowledge or had seen it posted somewhere so I don’t waste a trip into town. Highly expect tonight’s to be cancelled too but still no word currently which is a bit unfair if they do cancel as now just three hours til we are due to arrive at the theatre for our 6.15pm entry time. Luckily I live in London but have seen some comments from some traveling from Birmingham etc especially for this evenings show so you’d think they would know by now what’s happening.

I have a feeling in my water you will be OK 😀 or have I just drunk too much tea?

The sad thing is this is going to continue to happen....with all shows. This model of cancelling shows due to covid makes people less likely to even buy tickets in advance, let alone buy tickets at all.

I assume that considering they knew there was an issue at 11am this morning, they would have announced cancellation this evening, but having been to performances recently where they cancelled the show at 7.45 whilst sat in our seats when it should have started at 7.30, I am not holding my breath. For us the most inconvenient thing will be not having time to book something else instead, although it seems not much choice left anyway given the increasing number of cancelled performances.

Some shows - like & Juliet - seem to carry on . Maybe they have a strong team of covers and swings. Having said that I may have just given the show the kiss of death! i hope not as it the kinda fun uplifting show we need just now~~
