Hello all!
My boyfriend purchased flights for us to go to London for August, but of course due to ongoing restrictions here in Ireland and in the UK we will have to reschedule this!
Would the end of September potentially be a good time to rebook the flights for? I'm keen to bring him to see a show or two in the West End and I'd like to rebook for a time when the shows are likely to be back open. Thanks a bunch!

I’ve just booked to see You Are Here at Southwark Playhouse on 19th May and I have one moved booking for The Show Must Go On on 5th June. That’s it at the moment! Only booking for socially distanced stuff right now but hopefully I’ll be happy to pile them on soon enough.

I think as long as nothing goes wrong with the plan then end of September should be good. Plenty of shows have planned to open by then.

I hope to get to Buxton Opera House for " A Little Night Music" in July.
As my first lot of Harry Potter tickets have been moved to early August, I have a weekend of theatre planned, which so far includes Les Miserables concert (Fri eve), Hairspray (Sat mat) and HPCC Sun mat & eve).
I just wish I knew what was going on with "Good" at the Harold Pinter theatre. If it was rescheduled late enough in the year, I could hold off on going to that until November. I have a credit voucher for "Hello Dolly" that I could use to book something for the Sat evening in August (Wicked? Six?)
As dilemmas go, it's a nice one to have after 12 months of almost no live theatre at all!

I won't list my 2021 bookings, or the many re-schedulings from 2020, yet, as they keep getting pushed forward to 2022. Expecting a 2023 or two before long. Just hope I'll still be around then.
Already got a couple of date clashes, but I've decided not to request any swaps until things settle down.

Booked:
2021
You Are Here - Southwark Playhouse (because of the lovely and talented Wendi Peters) Cruise - Duchess (the first of several plays proposed about HIV/AIDS later this year) Happy Days - Riverside Studios (love Beckett and re-scheduled) Death of a Black Man - Hampstead (keen to get back to this wonderful venue) Prince of Egypt - Dominion (big fan of Stephen Schwartz and 3rd time lucky after re-scheduling) Leopoldstadt - Wyndham (re-scheduled) Six - Brighton Theatre Royal (having already seen it in Chicago and at the Arts and Lyric) Carousel - Open Air (re-scheduled in the lovely open air) Anything Goes - Barbican (one of the best musicals and with Megan Mulally - what's not to like?) Rent - Manchester Hope Mill (can't miss a new version of this stunning musical and having waited for re-scheduling) The Cherry Orchard - Windsor (Ian McKellan and Francesca Annis - skipping Hamlet but seeing this) Back to the Future - Adelphi (promises to be out of this world!) My Best Friend's Wedding - Birmingham Alexandra (fair film but companions very keen) Cinderella - Gillian Lynne (ALW's latest and re-scheduled 3 times) Private Lives - Richmond (Nigel Havers and Patricia Hodge and re-scheduled)
2022
Bring It On - Queen Elizabeth Hall (partner keen and something to do 2 January) Fascinating Aida - Chester Storyhouse (classy group who I've been seeing for 30+ years) Les Mis - Norwich (keen to see this again after a long break and somewhere other than London).
Awaiting re-scheduling:
Brigadoon at the Cirencester Barn West Side Story at Manchester Royal Exchange The Pillowman at Duke of Yorks Copenhagen at Bath Theatre Royal Office Suite at Bath Theatre Royal Good at the Playhouse Stephanie J Block at Cadogan Hall
Also looking to book:
Benefactors Moulin Rouge.

With the great news that the CFT production of South Pacific is back on this summer and with more theatre's sending out e-mails announcing their summer season's, this Easter weekend is all about getting the diary out to start planning the visits and getting the credit notes and refunds used. Happy times ahead and normal service is starting to return.

The Car Man’s due to run for a fortnight, with June 21 falling in the middle, so I’m not sure what’s happening with it, and judging by their website neither is the Albert Hall. They just announced it's rescheduled for summer 2022. I've also had 'To Kill a Mockingbird' rescheduled for next year. 'Good' is apparently up in the air, as is 'Sunday in the Park with George', 'La Belle Sauvage', and 'The Shark is Broken'. I'm annoyed at Menier Chocolate Factory as, in lieu of refunds last year, they offered a membership... which they've just informed me is expiring (it HAS been a year!) and I can pay to renew if I wish. I still have 'Nutcracker' at Sadler's Wells in December (fingers crossed). I can understand that after all the re-re-scheduling, theaters are playing it safe by just moving things to next year, but since conditions now seem to be supporting the re-opening of live theater, it's like a double blow.

I had tickets for:-
The Watsons - refunded.
City of Angels- refunded.
The Doctor - no refund yet, hopefully being rescheduled but all gone very quiet from Sonia Friedman and the Almeida, will seek refund soon if no news.
Sunday in the Park with George - going to ask for a refund now.
Leopoldstadt - Booked for September 2021 but anticipating a date change.
To Kill a Mockingbird - rescheduled 2022.
Life of Pi -hopefully November 2021.

For this year I have only booked so far The Turnip Field at Stoke Rep - 25 to 29 May.
Written by Cathy O'Reilly and Tim Churchill. Directed by Tim Churchill. Starring Sean Jones and Josh Capper. (If you're sensing a theme, I'm going there with a former Brenda/understudy Linda. 🤣)
For 2022, with my Cilla-refund, I have booked Waitress and Book of Mormon at Liverpool Empire. Didn't fancy any of their 2021 offerings.
Checked the Royal Court and Playhouse, but they haven't got much on either.

Had credit from the cancelled Southbury Child at The Bridge so used that to knab a ticket to Flight. Other than that, diary now has two shows of a decent length run I'm working on (which it seems several people in this thread are booked for which is nice). Might try and book a show or two for July when I'm back in London with some evenings free.

As it stands, Rent at the Hope Mill in August is my first show back. But I might possibly go to London in July for Six and/or Come From Away.

Les Mis concert and Six in May then Singin’ in the Rain (SW), BTTF, Rent, Waitress, Heathers, Mamma Mia & the Bat tour. I can remember when the first 2 of them are happening; no idea of the rest. I’m also going to see Suede in various places, Harry Styles if its ever rescheduled, Yungblud, Evanescence and McFly a few times. That’s right, I’m a teenage girl really.

Update: 'The Book of Dust / La Belle Sauvage' has been rescheduled at the Bridge from Nov. 29, 2021 to Feb. 20, 2022. And 'The Shark is Broken' is at The Ambassadors from October 9, 2021 to January 15, 2022. And credit where due: Menier Chocolate Factory has now allowed anyone whose membership expired during COVID to request an extension for the same period of time as the theater was closed. In my case, since the membership was given in lieu of a refund in April of 2020, they've generously given me a year from when they reopen!

I’ve got ‘The Play that Goes Wrong’ booked for the summer holidays with the children thanks to Kids Week. Nosebleed seats for ‘Hamilton’ in November - there’ll be some more in November but plenty of time to book at the moment..!. Finally, sneaking into 2022, taking the kids to see ‘The Lion King’ in January when my wife is back from her deployment abroad with the forces!!!

I’m seeing: Oleanna on September 13th. Anything Goes on September 14th. Hairspray on September 15th.
I could cry with excitement. The last time I was in a theatre was when SIX came to Edinburgh in February 2020. It’s been too long!
