Just watched Phantom Thread on the iPlayer (still available) and I wondered .. He seems such a creature of the smaller frame, it's difficult for me to imagine him from 30m away: so nuanced; every eyebrow tweak, every smile crease.
A lot of DDL's stage work was at Bristol but I see his final stage performance was as Hamlet at the National with Richard Eyre - anyone see that, for example?
