I too have a vague plan to line a wall in a house someday with framed posters, I have a dozen or so rolled up in storage at the moment, some nice older Les Mis ones, a few I managed to blag for free off of pubs. The couple that I've framed previously I've just done with the custom frame makers online, they're not any more expensive than buying a pre-made frame from a shop and if you get some funny sizes (as I seem to have) you can get a frame that fits perfectly.
I love the idea of getting a standard frame and then a custom mount though, that's very clever.
I wish there were more posters around these days.

This thread has inspired me to go through my own poster collection - I have almost 20 framed posters and many more that need framing. I’ve been going through the unframed posters measuring them up - I hadn’t realised that posters for shows like 42nd Street and Half a Sixpence were larger than the usual size. I’m probably going to order some frames online - unfortunately most of the posters are larger than the Dress Circle frames so I won’t be able to support them. Anyone have any recommendations for an online frame supplier?
Peter - I love your Instagram account, some fabulous posters on there.
I need to put my leaflets in order as my next job - quite a task! I will need to sell some off I think to try to create more living space! Don’t mention the programmes!!

As a HUGE Les Mis fan, and having worked on the show, I think this is my prized possession. 'One Night Only Les Misérables 8 October 1995 Royal Albert Hall'
