Jermyn Street are doing a free live-stream of a complete reading of The Odyssey on 9th October (12-hours, 72 actors). I will dip in during the day, it will be available afterwards on their YouTube channel. www.broadwayworld.com/scotland/article/Jermyn-Street-Theatre-Announces-THE-ODYSSEY-20200923It is a puzzle why this theatre has been so active with new productions and replays during lockdown when others (Almeida, Donmar) don't seem to have done much at all.

Yes I forgot about that, but have they anything else planned for the Autumn/Winter ? I mean as things stand they could do something live-streamed or with a limited audience (I see the 10pm curfew doesn't apply to theatres).

Excellent, thanks for posting. Jermyn St is being imaginative and having a go. For the life of me I do not understand why other big time theatres are not doing the same.
