If say that’s highly likely to be the costume if they’ve put it on display alongside a photo of the UK leads.
I've heard it's not, the dress pictured was the dress used in the Shanghai production, I've seen a sketch of the new one, it's a bit of a mix of the original and live-action versions x

It's a bad pr move if so...as a representation of the show it completely puts me off booking.
Just googled and does look the same as the shanghai themepark version.
1 costume would would stop you booking for a show??
I like the dress, with flower embroidery on it. It sets itself apart from the usual gold rouched version, that has been done to death.
Absolutely, it's a key costume and it looks incredibly cheap and like a theme park costume (which as it turns out it is) and speaks volumes as to what can be expected as to the level of a production. I have no interest in seeing another UK Productions style version.
If what the poster above has posted is correct though, that looks potentially stunning so hope is restored.
press night tickets for Bristol have been booked, very excited. Some excellent single stalls seats for £20 also left for all performances, I believe !! Will be sat front row of the grand circle, having paid the same price .. Get In begins tomorrow

That actually makes sense to me, as the embroidery et al seems to be influenced by the Chinese Couturier Guo Pei (Rhianna wore one of her massive gowns at the Met Gala). I had a couple of friends at Disney who were part of the ground team for the media opening launch at Shanghai Disneyland, and I know that a lot of things had to be changed to make them more appealing to the local audience.

I hope it’s a subtle mix of new and classic. Disney certainly has the resources for creating something magical. Would be disappointed if the preshow curtain is just the projection shown on that Instagram video. It’s the only thing that felt magic-less of the original production, in my opinion. Any news on how the orchestra will be? Has Disney behaved well this time?
Still trying to decide whether to punt and see this at Bristol when it opens, or hold out for more dates to be announced elsewhere. As would have seen the original opening at Curve, but we all know what happened there, so holding out for it coming into town also *fingers crossed* I don't have anything to compare to regarding the original production, so really looking forward to seeing this on stage, everything we've seen so far does look promising!
For anybody who can get to the Liverpool Empire between Sept 24-26th, there are a number of decent £20 single stalls seats and a few £13 front circle seats currently on general sale.

Similar with Bristol (25th Aug - 18th Sep), lots of single seats for £20.
