What we all haven’t realised is that the final show is a sing off. All six leads, performing a unique ‘double performance’ where we hear each non-ensemble song twice. Apart from Simon Zelotes, which we hear three times. Just because.

Fantastic atmosphere tonight, even on the lawn. I’m going to miss this show so much when it closes tomorrow. 6 wonderful weeks of normalish life back...

I'm guess that means Pepe/Ricardo/Anoushka and Declan/Tyrone/Maimuna tomorrow.
You mean Pepe/Tyrone/Anoushka and Declan/Ricardo/Maimuna. If that's the case then ceebee was almost right! Now I need to know who's doing the evening show. You're right, I do mean that. Which I will be very happy about if it's right because I haven't seen Declan and Ricardo together and didn't think I was going to get to. |

Such a shame, why do people bother if they're not going to watch the show? I was in the front row and was completely transfixed for 90 mins, didn't notice anyone around me. |

Based on what Anoushka and Maimuna have said; One show is Ricardo, Declan and Maimuna. The other is Pepe and Anoushka, but we do not have enough info to know who the Judas is for that show. However, we do know that as of tonight, Tyrone has performed three shows on the trot and Ricardo has not performed today. |

Oh wow, this was an amazing show! It really did feel like a last performance. And I'm pleased I finally got to see Declan and Tyrone live again, because the lawn screen just wasn't the same (and during the matinee I saw, the sun made it impossible to see details on it). But with the grass banks today I was close enough to see all the little details they brought to the role - absolutely worth the 90 minutes sitting in the cold.
I'm definitely bringing a blanket tomorrow again even though I have an actual seat this time. Fingers crossed it will be the Declan/Ricardo pairing I have yet to see!

Brilliant show tonight from the lawn, even though it got rather chilly.
The crowd was certainly into it, both on the lawn and in the theatre. One annoying lady who kept laughing on the lawn (probably drunk), but at least she was sat away from me.
I got a great position near the front of the lawn, so could see all the detail on the screen. Fantastic to have seen this in the dark from the start. You can really see the lighting effects. And the filming quality and knowing when to change camera angles has improved since I last saw this.
Not sure if I was properly in my "box", it was very hard to tell. Someone did come in late (or moved forward) to sit right me, which was a bit disconcerting. Luckily most people had their masks on (a few must have had medical clearance, or decided masks around chins too). I did recognise some faces from last time I sat in the screen area (well the only time) so they must have season tickets.
I think that will be my last visit, to go on a high. But I will keep an eye on the theatre site on the offchance a single seat inside the theatre appears. I would have loved to have seen Pepe and Tyrone together.
Final question. Is it true Adam Lambert was in the crowd? I heard some people about it when I was leaving, but might have got the wrong impression.

Also, Anoushka posted that she's doing the matinee, so it should be Pepe/Tyrone/Anoushka (m) and Declan/Ricardo/Maimuna (e). Really hope this production gets a future life soon cause it's truly the gift that keeps on giving. |

Maybe everyone else realised this already...I’ve just noticed that Tyrone did both shows yesterday, performing with both Jesuses and both Marys. I wonder if they’ll do the same today. Two Ricardo shows. On any other weekend I’d agree with you, but if they let all but one of the leads have a show on the last day and not Tyrone I will riot. That’s patently unfair and I can’t see them doing it. But then I thought they’d go back to the original trios for the last day so clearly I know nothing. |

JCS is one of my favourite shows and I have been really enjoying reading all the positive and wonderful comments on the show. I feel like I am there in spirit if not in body. Keeping my fingers crossed there will be a tour sometime in the near future. In the meantime looking forward to reading about the final shows.
