£16 a ticket (plus 86p booking fee), looks like they have 50 tickets per show. Only playing on Monday and Tuesday evenings. You can buy tickets for 1, 3 or 4, which is fine for me but seems unusual.

They expect to run additional performances once they're comfortable with what they're doing (and I guess, assuming there is demand).

Is wearing a face mask for the full performance at an outdoor event, necessary? I would have gone to this - but not prepared to wear a face mask, when one is not required in bars, restaurants etc. And yes, I do wear one on public transport and will do so in shops from tomorrow.

Can't make any of the dates so hope they do extend.
I guess the face masks are performative more than anything - they are there to reassure not because they are necessary. As people get used to going to the theatre again, the requirement to wear them for outdoor events will probably tail off - at least I hope so.
It's an interesting question whether requiring face masks puts off more people than not requiring them. Presumably the theatres think more people want them to be mandatory than don't want them, but who knows what that is based on.

@happysooz I don't know, is it - does common sense say that audience members are more likely to attend if masks are mandatory than if they're not? That was my question, not whether masks are necessary or not in that context.
Seems fairly split on this board between people not wanting to attend if masks are required and only wanting to attend if masks are required, at least amongst people who have expressed a preference. I suspect most people want to get back to the theatre in some fashion and will do what it takes; that's my position anyway.
And since we're ETA-ing, I'll add - I was talking specifically about use of masks in outdoors socially distanced environments; I think "science" (which is not monolithic) is ambiguous in that context.
