I'm writing a book on the late Stephanie Lawrence and her many contributions to British musical theatre during the 80s and 90s and would love to hear from family and friends, actors who performed on stage with Stephanie, and theatre patrons who saw her perform on multiple occasions for sharing your memories and experiences. I am none of these unfortunately, but what a great project. I mainly knew her as the original Pearl in Starlight Express (over the years have probably listened to this cast recording more than any other). Never saw her live sadly, though listened to so many recordings and seen many videos of her performing online.
An incredible talent. And a sad end to her life from a cruel illness. A great loss to MT.
