Last for me was the Six matinee on March 14th (via Rush, never had much luck before but maybe because the demand wasn't as high that weekend).
I had also rushed Pretty Woman the previous Saturday the 7th and then London felt pretty normal, tubes busy and crowds around Piccadilly Circus normal. The following Saturday when I went for Six it was so eerily quiet, the tubes were very empty and walking through Leicester Square to the theatre it seemed very quiet. And then obviously that was the last weekend of theatre.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie - UK Tour matinee on Saturday 7th March. It was weird as I kinda had a feeling it would be my last show for a very long time but I didn’t get confirmation until the 16th obviously.

A two show day on the 14th March - The Last Five Years and Pass Over. It was pretty much the last day you could go to the theatre and I believe the whole West End was offically closed the following week. One of the cast members of Pass Over actually turned out to have covid but thankfully I was unaffected as far as I'm aware. Brilliant play to close out on at least! It's weird to think, though, that I averaged out more than one show a week last year whereas this year it'll be less than one a month.

7th March, Shoe Lady at the RC: I’d hate for something to happen to me (or the theatre industry disintegrates altogether) and the last thing I saw was that 💩 Shoe Lady was my last show as well ( on March 12) and I too am wondering if this is how a lifetime of theatre going ends. No offense to Katherine Parkinson of whom I'm quite fond, but what a piece of junk it was. Oh well!

Mine was the first preview for City of Angels, I called out of work to go see it and I'm so glad I did!

1st March = last touring show (We Will Rock You) 5th March = last WE show/last show (Waitress). Nearly cancelled it for various reasons but now I’m very glad that I didn’t.

Waitress and Come From Away on 15 February (and Pretty Woman the night before). I was out of the country for the first two weeks of March and due to see Phantom at the Curve on 20 March - the first of 38 cancelled and 7 rescheduled shows and concerts since. And a couple of the reschedulings now look in further doubt. On the upside, I've seen 41 pieces of theatre or concerts online in that period - many of which were new to me. And dippy ... I feel another spreadsheet coming on! ;-)

March 14th. A double bill, Endgame at the Old Vic in the afternoon and then Nuclear War / Buried / Graceland for the evening in The Old Red Lion.
Such a short time ago while also such a lifetime ago.

‘Be More Chill’ matinee Sun 15th March. If only I’d have known it would be the last thing I’d see...well I’d probably still nod off and wince at the awfulness of it all...but I’d certainly have tried harder to enjoy it.

Come on, what am I supposed to say, my last show was... Thriller Live. As it was touring here and I could get in cheaply and I thought I'd check out the bête noir of so many people on this board.
It wasn't AWFUL, but...

Northern Broadside’s production of “Quality Street”, by JM Barrie at the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, on 12th March 2020. I saw that in February at The Lowry (Quays theatre). Good fun! Then "Coriolanus" at Sheffield Crucible on Sat 14th March, for the matinee. I almost didn't go, but now I'm so glad I did!

Just sorted my tickets etc. and my last show on my last London trip was Teenage Dick at the Donmar on December 19th 2019. Have to think about the great shows I saw on that trip and not think, what I have already missed this year...

7th March, City of Angels, which I adored and bought more tickets for later in the run (both now refunded).
I should have seen Roddy Doyle in conversation on the following Wednesday but I decided against, although I was still travelling to work on the tube until Tuesday 17th March.
