I was scrolling through the BroadwayWorld forum and discovered that a thread had been created pondering the question as to which character in a musical most resembles Trump. Among the responses were Thenardier from Les Misérables, Billy Flynn from Chicago and Judge Turpin from Sweeney Todd.
Anyway, it seemed like quite a fun concept, and I thought it could work well on our side of the pond as well. So, without further a do, "what character in a musical most resembles Boris Johnson?".

Billy Flynn might be a bit of a conman at heart but he's nothing like Trump! Flynn has intelligence, sex appeal and exploits the press to his advantage, he doesn't belittle it and make an idiot of himself every time they confront him.

Thenardier is most appropriate - a liar and a cheat who's always on the look out for what he can get for himself, a show off and keen to ingratiate himself with the rich whilst keeping an eye out for what he can pinch.

I’m not sure that suggesting that UK politicians of any persuasion are in the market for killing people off is very helpful.
If we could keep the discussion rational please?

King George from Hamilton.
A narcissistic, deranged figure, completely separated from reality and mentally no older than 8.
